The Captain’s Cottage was a very cozy stay for me and my partner. We really appreciated the clean and comfortable rooms. They made sure we had their contact information and to let them know if we needed anything. The price was very reasonable and I could recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay in long beach, the location is very good and within walking distance of multiple restaurants and bars. Slept all of us well and the added off street parking was a nice bonus for our sprinter van

What a cute cottage! We enjoyed our stay in this cottage with so much charm! Everything we needed was there! Close to Disneyland as well! Very quiet area! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re In that area! Wonderful hosts as well!

This was such a sweet place to stay for a few days while we visited family nearby. The home was spotless and felt like home. The patio was a nice way to relax and enjoy the outdoors without having to be in the sun. The bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, along with living room and dining room were the perfect amount of space for my family and I to stay. We will definitely be back in the future.

Kathryn’s guest cottage was perfect for our long weekend away to rest & recharged. Everything we needed was available & Kathryn was an amazing hostess.

Brenda’s place was very nice, it felt like home. The place was a great stay for me and my girlfriend. I enjoyed the stay and the location made it a simple drive to the beaches!

Very nice stay with friends at Melissa's place! It was super clean, beautiful and cozy: perfect for 2 people. Favorite for the terrace and the little lights! The street where the accommodation is located is super quiet and close to several major roads to get to the points of interest in the city. Mélissa responded quickly to messages and gave us good recommendations during our stay. Thank you for everything 🫶🏼

This is a paradisiac place. Very secluded and surrounded by nature, ideal to really unplug. The outdoor kitchen is beautiful, as well as the swimming pool and the suite. Karen was an excellent host, always available when we needed something. We are looking forward to come back soon!

Connie was truly the perfect host. Responded so quickly to request for hot tub heat-up each eve (enjoyed the pool, too). And her written words were warm and generous. There was everything you could need in the kitchen and bath…including extras you wouldn’t even expect in other Airbnbs we’ve stayed. Syrup for our pancakes, for example, and toothpaste! Wonderful ambiance in our sweet cottage, lots of comfortable places to sit and covered front porch to snuggle up in next to the gorgeous home with beautiful gardens. Loved the lights strung across the yard; SO pretty each evening. We were fascinated by the Pasadena Parrots twice a day; fun to try and spot them in the mature trees all around. We are grateful for Connie allowing us to experience this exquisite property and we really hope to return!

Our stay here was quick, but just what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet. Our family of six stayed, and one reason we chose it was because each of our four kids would have their own bed. No pillow barriers needed haha. Speaking of beds, these were the *most* comfortable ones we’ve used at an AirBnB. The space was comfy, inviting, and super cool. We loved looking at all the music industry memorabilia, too; what a neat legacy for Michele to share with her AirBnB guests! One thing to note: the place is a converted garage so it is cooled and heated with a mini-split. It wasn’t turned on when we got there, and we wish it had been because it was a pretty cold, drizzly night (December) and took a long time to heat up. So if you stay here, maybe request that it be turned on in advance of your arrival. I’m sure the property management wouldn’t mind at all because they were nothing but accommodating and welcoming. Our big family felt lucky to find this place to stay while in the area.

Definitely wanted to stay longer! Connie made us feel welcomed before our stay even started and was even more of a delight to meet in person. The property is beautiful! Cottage was perfect for us and our pups. Neighborhood streets are nice to walk down with stores and restaurants easy to walk to. I can go on and on about the positives so I’ll just say that we will always check availability here first for any return trips.

The cottage was very cute and cozy. It was extremely clean! It was a great home-base for our adventures to Disneyland, the Queen Mary, and Hollywood. It was also convenient to local restaurants.

You will never stay in an Airbnb as beautiful or with a host as accommodating. Fari and Nina set the bar for what an Airbnb experience should be. Upon arrival we were greeted by Fari and his lovely wife Nina and made to feel immediately at home. We were lost for words for how beautiful both the location was and also the quality of the property's finish and all of it's contents (the kitchen is better equipped than our kitchen at home!) Fari went the extra mile to ensure we had the most enjoyable trip and were treated like family, as opposed to tenants, throughout the whole stay - whilst also ensuring we had all the privacy we needed. Fari ensured we felt settled in Malibu - providing local expertise and guidance to all the wonderful hiking trails and flora & fauna in the area and showing us the sites. Not forgetting the best daily smoothies! We are truly grateful to both Fari and Nina for having us at their home, and leave feeling like we've gained new friends for life. Until next time

Chuchu (the host) was very kind and accommodating and communicated very well with us. We couldn’t stay as long as we wanted due to personal plans. So we weren’t able to enjoy the fantastic amenities like we would have liked to! There are so many amenities, and probably the best out of the Airbnb we have stayed at. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Good parking availability. There was so much to do for everyone, from the garage games to the backyard pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Everything the listing described and then some. It was also very close to restaurants and things to do if you plan to leave the house and do other things too. It is an active area but a peaceful neighborhood and one you can relax. Best of both worlds! Great for a short stay or longer stay!

This place is so beautiful, quiet, secluded and magical! It's about 12 minutes drive from the town of Pearblossom which is very small. It's a small gates area with only a few houses around, but we havn't seen anyone while we stayed there. It's 9 minutes walk from a natural park called "the devil's punch bowl" where you can hike and climb on rocks. We enjoyed it very much with our kids and dog. The house is great! It has lots of bedrooms and beds, fully stocked kitchen (very old appliances but they work), 2 fireplaces, many TV's, awesome play room and a wonderful Jacuzzi (strong jets). We spent time hiking, bathing, playing pool, watching movies and eating. This is a perfect place to check out from the world and enjoy family time. I will also mention that if you go outside early, you will see a few dears! There's a grocery store about 12 minutes drive, we brought a lot of food with us. Wonderful experience!

Magical place! Best experienced in real life. Don’t wait book this home. Beth was a doll, brought us fresh picked flowers and creamer upon request.

MK is a fantastic host! Her place is in a wonderful, central location that allows you to easily get around LA which is saying a lot as LA can be a tough city to get around in. The home matched the description and photos. MK was very accommodating, flexible, kind, and responsive - thank you for a great stay!

We had a great time and stay, arrived around 9:30 PM, Darrell met us at the carport and helped with my bag when he did not have to. He lead us up about 50 steps and gave us a tour that was super helpful. Arriving after sunset is highly recommended by us. House is comfy, Private Hot tub was wonderful to use daily. Day bed outside was awesome to star gaze. Fire pit adds a nice touch as well. Private sauna too. Plenty of beautiful greenery, water, tikis and nature sounds. Keep in mind this is set in the Topanga Canyon and is basically a forest/jungle so there are bugs, slugs and wild animals so if you are scared of bugs and whatnot you have been warned. FYI there are grounds keepers on property during the day so you are not totally alone. Darrell lives on a property up the hill and is available at all times. Side note, We have a EV vehicle and we found chargers in Calabasas and Santa Monica. Thank you Darrell and team.

Tom is a great guy and cares about his guest. I would highly recommend him and his location to anyone looking to stay in the Huntington Beach area.
