Guesthouse vacation rentals in Los Angeles

I would recommend it to others! No reservations at all! One does need a car to get around west LA, but that goes without saying.

This is our second time at Shannon's place, and again we felt like we're home with their warm welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Paul Henry's guest house tucked away in their beautiful garden. It was comfortable and thoughtfully put together: plenty of outlets and charging cables for different devices; shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in the shower; a great coffee maker with a reusable filter. Paul’s communication and clear instructions made settling in a breeze. The location is also fantastic—it’s rare to be able to walk around so easily in LA!

My boyfriend and I stayed here and really enjoyed our time! The place was clean, comfy, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Michael and Laura were fabulous hosts. Before I checked in, they sent me a message asking about my favorite drink -- so that they could have it waiting for me! I felt like I arrived to a secret garden, with a darling welcome sign at the front door. The entrance feels fully private and the area is so quiet. The space is thoughtfully stocked, with everything I needed for cooking, showering, sleeping, relaxing. Michael checked in to see that I had everything I needed and was quick to respond when I texted about best walkable grocery stores or scenic walks. They are a perfect combination of warm and attentive, while also respecting privacy. This is my favorite Airbnb I've ever stayed. And I hope to come back again! Seriously cannot thank them enough for a wonderful time and for sharing their incredible space with me! Hugs to you both -- fabulous job!

Our stay at Sara and Sam’s guest house was great! They were super friendly and responsive to any questions I had, and the unit itself was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again when visiting LA.

Debbie and Mike were great hosts—very friendly and communicative. The guest house was just as described, in a quiet neighborhood with good privacy. It was clean and had everything we needed, including kitchen supplies, blankets, and more. Would definitely recommend!

I must say that this place was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in! I would ever go as far as to say the pictures doesn’t do it justice. It was an absolute beauty, with a huge hot tub deck complete with a covered outside bar with a grill and room for 10+ guests. The guest itself was spotless and well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is even a washer and dryer inside the unit. I would most definitely recommend staying here and will be booking a stay here again. Thank you Tracy for your near-immediate responses, welcoming hospitality, and quaint accommodations!

This space is amazing! The outdoor front yard really makes the place. We were with small kiddos and they loved being outside and hanging out watching the planes coming in. Ernesto was very communicative and the inside had everything you would need. We had such a great time and are hoping to book it again in the future. Great place and host!

Kelli was an absolutely gracious host and was always available for any needs. She had great recommendations for the area for things to do and places to eat and we felt right at home there. I will absolutely book her again when I come back!

I had an excellent stay for a week. Friendly and gracious hosts, the studio has great natural light, a lovely backyard, and was a quiet and comfy place to sleep. The neighborhood is pretty and residential. Meeting the sweetheart dogs of the house was a bonus!

Gideon & Michelle’s space is lovely, safe, and clean, just as described in the listing. They’re also super warm and friendly which made the stay even more enjoyable. We especially love the fact that they have a designated parking spot. The super cute handwritten note with the welcome basket was just the cherry on top. Would def book again!

Lovely little cozy place. My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed staying here. Very private and quiet. Made you feel like you were at home. Comfy and welcoming. The outside was a vibe with the lights. Highly recommend and as Jennifer was very responsive and helpful for any of your needs. This is just a preference but a bigger TV would be nicer in future just a suggestion because I feel like other people would enjoy that piece more as well but if you aren't really there much just to sleep like us it's perfect. Overall 10/10! Casita is a hit!

Amazing spot! Being able to use the little row boat on the canals was super special. The bed felt very luxurious with super soft sheets and a very comfy bed. Dominique was quick to help out with anything we needed.

This place was perfect to stay at for a weekend. Nestled in the mountains just a few minutes from the main road, the drive up is steep and narrow, which made it feel like a real adventure. It’s also only a short drive to the town, which is super cute and fun to walk around — lots of small shops to explore. The Airbnb is very private with stunning views, and the photos are exactly what it looks like. I loved sitting outside in the mornings, listening to the birds and watching wildlife. There’s a hiking trail right behind the property too. The space was spotless and beautifully decorated — cozy bed, comfy couch, and a great kitchen with fridge, stove, utensils, etc (though no microwave). I’d suggest grabbing groceries in LA, about 15 minutes away, since the local store is small. There was no Wi-Fi and I had no phone signal at the Airbnb, but I didn’t mind since I wanted to unplug. I could walk just a minute down the road to get service if needed. I loved this place, it was magical.

I was only at Patrick's place for a short overnight, but everything was clean and wonderful. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

A wonderful stay! Lucy was incredibly kind and thoughtful. There were clear instructions for everything. The space was private and had all that I needed. I also felt safe. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is our 3rd time staying with Anoush and she never disappoints us. The space is immaculate and very comfortable. There's even a private outdoor space for nice days. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. Bed is comfortable. It's the best Air BnB we've stayed in. Highly recommend!

I loved Will's place! It was nice and private with a big electronic gate out front for added security. The place was nestled on a hill in a Latin American neighborhood. It was really handy to have my own parking spot. I was mainly in town for a film festival so this was a perfect spot to function as home base while I attended events during the day/night. I would definitely stay here again!

We were very happy with the space - comfortable, perfect size for a couple, and in a convenient central location for exploring LA. It’s about a 10 minute drive to downtown culver and even has a few cafes / restaurants within walking distance. The hosts were very responsive and even accommodated our request for early check in. Would recommend this listing to anyone looking to stay in the area.

It was great staying at Serena’s place. House and restrooms were clean. Parking space was good. Checkin instructions were very clear, and Serena, Mary and her team were very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay at this place again.
