De oude Wagenschuur aan de rivier de Lek.

Dit prachtige vakantiehuisje was vroeger een 100 jaar oude wagenschuur, waarvan oude balkenwerk zoveel mogelijk in het zicht is gebleven. Het huisje staat op het erf van onze 400 jaar oude monumentale krukhuis boerderij, waar we wonen met onze schapen, kippen en hond. Het huisje beschikt over een eigen zitje buiten. Tegenover de boerderij zijn de uiterwaarden van de rivier de Lek met de vele leuke kleine strandjes. En op steenworp afstand ligt het gezellige zilverstadje Schoonhoven.

Beautiful new apartment in lovely coutry side surroundings. The apartment is in a charming camping lot, second floor, shares terracce with one other neighbour apartment, but has a private entrance. Very quiet, a bit away from attractions, but for that you get beautiful landscape and dreamy country roads. Apartment is new, very clean, one queen size comfy bed and big sofa couch in living room. Love the decor and extra chairs to sit in! Ask for the breakfast, they offer to bring you one for small cost. Everything you need for a longer stay is there, hosts are very helpful! I hope to stay again!

Heerlijke accommodatie! De check-in verliep soepel en het was prettig dat ik later op de avond kon aankomen. Alles was goed geregeld. De ruimte zelf was brandschoon en straalde rust uit — precies zoals op de foto’s. Je merkt dat er met zorg aan alles is gedacht. De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, wat het extra fijn maakte. Echt een plek waar je je direct op je gemak voelt. Heerlijk aan het water met prachtig uitzicht op de haven en historische panden! Een dikke aanrader!

Eine rundum super Unterkunft! Frits ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der immer erreichbar war. In der Unterkunft gibt es alles was man braucht und es gab sogar Eier, Äpfel und Getränke, ein Mega Service! Würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Cherry Cottage ist ein kleines Paradies! Das Häuschen ist mit so viel Herz und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – super gemütlich, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und kann richtig abschalten. Ein absolutes Highlight war der Whirlpool, den man mit Holz anheizt – pure Entspannung inmitten dieser herrlich ruhigen Umgebung. Die angrenzende Schafweide war einfach nur idyllisch, genauso wie die gesamte Lage des Cottages – total ruhig, viel Privatsphäre und einfach ideal zum Runterkommen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr sehr gern wieder. Wer eine gemütliche Auszeit in schöner Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Danke für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt!

We had a wonderful time at Michel and Rosa's house. They are very welcoming, the scenery is beautiful and the apartment was super clean. We would definitely recommend staying there. Lary & Bruno
