On the Bosscheweg, right opposite Hotel v.d Valk, is our house surrounded by trees and water features. In the garden, the work studio of the former resident has been transformed into a lovely guest house. Architecture according to the Bosscheschool. The hidden cottage is a short bike ride from Den Bosch and, for example, the Regina Coeli language institute. The tranquility, despite the train track nearby, the garden, view of the lake, all this makes this a unique place.

This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old carriage house, of which old beams have remained visible as much as possible. The cottage is located in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental Krukhuis farm, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage has its own outdoor seating. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

A nice quiet place on the water, nature in abundance with a nice walking and cycling area next door, the cozy Gouda nearby and several larger cities at 30 to 45 minutes by car or train. Nb. during the Christmas holidays, arrival is possible on Saturday, December 20. After 4 nights, longer stays are possible for 120 euros/night on request.

Easy to reach from the highway, but only a few minutes' walk to nature park "De Maashorst" and close to nature park "Herperduin".
