Great hosts, very friendly and make you feel at home and Dont encroach on your own space. The garden was amazing in June. 30seconds walk away from the village,it was a perfect location and amazing place to stay and had everything we could ask for. Would definitely re-book again.

Spent a wonderful couple of days at the Shepherds Hut. It’s cosy, clean and comfortable with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. I especially enjoyed watching the sunrise (with the horses and cows in the fields next door keeping me company). We didn’t have a car but getting to the site is super easy via a bus from Stroud, and walking to/from Minchinhampton is only around 20 mins via public footpaths. Taxis are also easy to find. We went on a lovely 1 hour and 20 mins walk from the hut to the Jolly Nice farm shop finding a great route using OS maps. We loved meeting Nick and how welcome he made us feel. We hope to stay again soon!
