Our apartment with garden is located in the historic center of Oberkaufungen. It is located in a half-timbered house overlooking the Stiftskirche and the Kaufunger Wald. The tram to Kassel is 10 minutes away. The apartment is newly renovated. It is about 40 square meters. Living space, consisting of a closed bedroom, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen-living room. The apartment is suitable for 2 adults. If a toddler is traveling, a travel crib is available. The garden in front of the house may be used by the guests. There is a sitting area with a table and chairs. It invites you to have breakfast in the countryside or a glass of wine in the evening sun. Pets are welcome, but must be announced in advance. The stay for a dog costs an extra 10 euros for 1-2 days, and 20 euros for a longer stay.

On the ground floor, there is a natural stone floor with underfloor heating, a large, light-filled living room with a couch (sofa bed available) and a TV with soundbar, a fireplace, and a large dining table, a kitchen, a guest toilet, and a utility room with heating and a washing machine. Wi-Fi throughout the house with a fiber-optic connection.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

The large bed (160 x 200 cm) is separated by the room layout; shower room. Important information The apartment is on the 2nd floor, the upper stairs are steep. The bed is under a sloping roof. No pets, non-smokers only, no parties.

Located right by the Kaufungen Forest and with very good connections to the Documenta City of Kassel, from here you can access all the hiking and biking trails around Kaufungen and the surrounding area. In the evening, you can enjoy the magnificent sunset on the balcony, with a fantastic view of the natural surroundings.

Pretty 67 m² half-timbered house on a romantic farm in the old town center of Dörnhagen. This place is perfect for a couple with or without kids. There are many places on the shared courtyard (4 other parties live permanently on the courtyard) to unwind, read or have a meal. The cottage is bright and looks spacious for a half-timbered house. The bathroom is brand new and the house was renovated in May 2020. ATTENTION: Look at the photo of the stairs in the house.

The newly renovated, comfortable studio is on the ground floor of a traditional half-timbered house (Fachwerkhaus). It offers about 32.00 square meters of living / dining room with sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed, a small fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The studio can be occupied by 1-4 people. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure good lighting and an attractive view of the quiet, green garden, in which there is a separate seat that belongs to the studio.

This spacious 130 m² apartment is ideal for groups, families, or business travelers. It offers plenty of space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy conservatory for relaxing. A foosball table provides entertainment. Thanks to the elevator, the apartment can be easily accessed. The quiet location with easy access to the highway and the city center makes it the perfect base for a stay and for exploring. Shoping and restaurants are also within easy reach.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

A very bright apartment. Both bedrooms are equipped with all amenities. There is a shower room. The open kitchen is very new and modern and fully equipped for 5 people (dishes, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, ceramic stove, oven, etc.). The living area is equipped with a new large L-shaped sofa bed and provides sleeping facilities for 2 more people. The property has parking for two cars, or a car with a trailer.

For lovers of an extraordinary and cozy living atmosphere in a green idyll - yet close to the city - with shopping close by. The large country-style apartment on two floors is equipped with many amenities, suitable for relaxing on the large loggia on the upper floor or the covered veranda in the entrance area. But also hikes in the beautiful Hessian mountains, bike tours or boat tours on the Fulda are worthwhile.
