There is a beautiful hike to a remote town called Scoraig which is challenging but well worth the travel and it is a life changing experience. Please visit as you will discover a unique, creative, and inspiring part of Scotland not replicated elsewhere!

We absolutely loved staying here.. our favourite place on our trip so far. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful and both our hosts were lovely, helpful and gave us some great suggestions on what to do in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely place, beautifully designed, felt very new and clean but cosy. Yes it is a bit different to not have a sink in the kitchen but to have to take 3 steps out the door, under a roof, to a separate room - but we thought it was a nice little change to everyday life. Mark was really nice and helpful. It was lovely that the bathroom heating was on when we arrived as it was quite cold! The only thing that could be improved is to provide a little bit more kindling for the fire, as there wasn't loads and the other wood was quite big :)

Culkein never let me down & the pod was so cosy ,quiet. This was our 3rd times staying at one of Karen’s place.Karen was so nice & responsive.She replied straight away anything for you.The pod itself was so convenient and it’s got every basic things you need .We had the nice times there again. I recommend the Crofter’s Kitchen in Scourie for fresh seafood dishes (so delicious) as well & you can even take a boat trip to Kylesku waterfall from Kylesku Hotel . If you prefer hiking,Bone caves should consider as your option as well as the views were so stunning and breathtaking . Definitely recommend to book this pod as everywhere is easy to access and so glad that I got to stay at Karen’s place again.Definitely coming back again soon. Thanks Karen.
