Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

All the technical aids that a normal household has are available (washing machine,, fridge, TV, bicycles, grill, etc.) and can be used free of charge. Internet access is available for 5 euros/stay. We stayed with Dolores as a family of 11. We felt very comfortable in the very lovingly designed house. We had wonderful weather and were able to enjoy our meals at a large table in the garden. Upon arrival, Dolores welcomed us and showed us everything. A nice change was the covered ping-pong table and the pool table. Thank you for the wonderful time.

The accommodation in Görlitz was very nice. Right at the foot of the Landeskrone with an incredibly great view of the city. The apartment was superbly equipped and really clean. Patricia is a very kind host and has really thought of everything, often even offered more than usual. Communication with her was proactive, she described everything exactly, asked questions and responded quickly. We were there with 4 children and slept as parents in the living room, which was absolutely no problem. The kids loved it too. We will definitely recommend the place.

Susanne and Klaus are very kind and warm-hearted hosts, fast responding and most helpful. We enjoyed very much staying at their castle in this beautiful and spacious apartment combined with both new-modern conveniences and with historical furniture but in like-new condition! We could explore the castle :-) Amazing experience and very nice atmosphere in the whole area. Hosts are doing so great in sensitive refurbishment of this castle. Thank you. We love it!!!
