Coedfa Hall Betwsycoed. Grand, spacious & views

AnnabelRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Coedfa Hall and the small adjoining house exceeded expectations - it is the most beautiful old house, full of character and charm with more than a dollop of old-world glamour and grandure....everything felt so special and yet we felt right at home. Our host had clearly thought so carefully about meeting guests' needs, with everything you need for a big family get together - well-equipped kitchen, amazing dining room, roaring fires, comfy sofas and a beautiful garden with multiple scenic sitting spots. Such a fantastic place, and amazing walks direct from the house! We will be back for another multi-generational gathering very soon!

New Holiday Home on Penrhos Park golf course

JodieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Wow……one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in!! Beautiful lodge that was immaculately clean, lovely kitchen to cook in and the outside decking area was perfect to sit out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We saw dozens of Red Kites throughout our stay which was a real treat as we’re big nature enthusiasts! We loved it so much that we’re heading back in just under 4 weeks time for 6 nights 😎 a real gem of a find, the golf club was very welcoming and the food was lovely! Really cannot rate this beautiful place highly enough!! Looking forward to the next one already!!

Gwynaeth Gwyn-Swimming pool, hot tub and sea views

ChloeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed here over February half term as a family get away of 12 people. The house was warm, cozy and inviting. It was like being at home. The upstairs lounge with views over the sea was a real show stopper! 10-15 minute walk to the beach and stunning views all around. Hosts were great with sorting a heating issue before we even arrived, great communication. Would highly recommend, and will be revisiting in warmer months to enjoy the pool.

Country house in 5 Acres now with hot tub!

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful house in a lovely setting. As you'd expect, not a lot of entertainment immediately locally outside of the house other than walks (be warned footpaths are not maintained and impassible in places) but you don't book a place like this if you want hustle and bustle. Pool, hot tub and fire pit all great. Games room is in a separate building to the main house and so wasn't used as much as perhaps otherwise could have. Hosts are great and very welcoming, but they do live right next door which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't a big issue for us and we were left to our own devices. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Hosts very accommodating if required and good communication 👍

We had a lovely stay! The host was fantastic – very accommodating with our request for an early check-in. The caravan was cosy, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome basket, complete with wine, biscuits, and even treats for our dog. A really nice touch! We’d happily stay here again.

Had a brilliant stay. Lorraine was an excellent host, full clear instructions on how to get to the air BnB, very welcoming and was great at communicating. The air BnB was ideally located for walks in Snowdonia, we spent three nights there. One room downstairs, very cosy kitchen and lounge, upstairs has a bathroom with shower and the bedroom with a comfy double bed. Had everything you would expect, really felt like a home from home. Would love to stay again.

Tranquility

MelanieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our trip comprised of 4 adults and 2 reactive dogs. We loved how we could walk a few yards to get to a bridle path to let them off the lead, or if we wanted to we could walk a bit further to the field where the trees are planted. This was a great place to be able to let them out and have a good run around and not meet anyone. The house was easy to get to once we found our bearings. If you miss the turn off.... reverse and go back otherwise you end going up a farm track that has no passing point! The house was very comfortable, spacious and warm. We went to lake vrymy, waterfalls, chirk, Whittington Castle, llangollen, pontysciliate aquaduct. All were within about 40 minute drive. This house is in farm country so don't expect pavements, but you can walk on the verges and there's minimal traffic. I think I counted seeing a total of 5 cars in the 4 days we were there. There are no shops or pubs in easy walking distance but within easy reach by car.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming orchard cottage in North Wales. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is beautifully presented. spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The location is stunning, nestled in peaceful countryside with breathtaking views, yet just a short drive from local towns, scenic walking routes, and the coast. We especially loved the peaceful tranquil of the surrounding areas. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, providing helpful local tips and even leaving a few special touches for our arrival that made us feel so appreciated. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making this a memorable place to stay. We left feeling refreshed and recharged, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. SEVERNSIDE ANNEX

ParulRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely loved our stay here. What made it extra special were the thoughtful things that Jonathan (our host) did before and during our stay: welcome basket with treats for our girls, sticker books on their beds, letting us enjoy his beautiful garden, with a massive trampoline and on our final day giving us a box of eggs from the chickens that live there. The Annex was fully equipped with all the required essential, in a very scenic location, grocery stores closeby, the best pizza restaurant a mear 20min drive. Highly recommend for families with small children (almost forgot to mention the friendly lamb in the farm nextdoor).

Comfortable beds, large bedrooms, a comfy living room and we loved the beautiful green bathroom upstairs! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. I can 100% recommend this cottage and we hope to be back!

Had the most wonderful few days staying in this gorgeous property, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean we could quite happily have just chilled in the lovely garden but with the quaint market town of Shrewsbury a short walk along the canal path and the property ideally situated to visit the historic Iron Bridge and Ludlow (to name just a few) we ventured out to explore and weren’t disappointed. We will be back.

3 room/10 beds - Arts&Crafts house nr Chirk Castle

SoniaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We cannot recommend Tan Y Garth enough. Staying there was an adventure in itself: atmospheric, clean and set in spectacular surroundings. The best thing about Tan Y Garth were our hosts. There was a fierce storm during our stay resulting in a power outage covering the whole of Wales. Janet and Derek worked tirelessly to make sure we were warm, able to cook, able to see! We ate supper by candlelight and some electric light, round a roaring fire, took hot baths by candlelight and Derek even restored Wi-Fi and made sure we could listen to music! It was a truly memorable weekend and we will definitely be back to enjoy Tan y Garth in more clement conditions!
