Vacation rentals with a patio in Llanfrothen

We had a great break at Ffion’s property - beautifully furnished with all we could need, in a stunning area of the country - would definitely recommend & hope for a return visit sometime in the future.

Booking and communication at short notice was very good and locating the property and check in was easy. The allocated parking bay is clearly marked and close to the entry door - the high street and Ffestiniog Railway Station a two-minute drive away. Once inside, I found a light, clean, comfortable and attractive interior with good quality furnishings. Comfortable double bed and peaceful at night. Lounge with large comfy settee next to patio doors with a great view of the harbour. Good sized TV and reliable Wi-Fi. I enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening sunshine. Open plan kitchen next to lounge is well equipped. Three supermarkets locally or lots of restaurants if you don’t want to cook. From here I visited some great locations including Anglesey, beaches on Llyn Peninsula, Snowdon Railway, Ffestiniog Railway, Portmeirion, Barmouth and Porthmadog itself. I had a great time at this accommodation, a perfect base for exploring Snowdonia and I would happily stay here again.

Really lovely weekend with a 15 minute drive to Llanberis. Quiet location and great base for walking. Grateful.

Jane's place was absolutely beautiful; it was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The welcome package was really sweet and thoughtful. Jane was responsive throughout and even left us a welcome card and cake. Jane's place is so well equipped and cosy and Jane really has thought of everything you could possibly want or need. The bed was really comfortable too. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Jane, we so hope to return soon.

First class accommodation in a lovely tranquil village with the local pub offering a warm and friendly welcome with excellent food. I would highly recommend this lovely apartment, its a great base for exploring this beautiful part of Wales. Maria is a super Host in every way, thoughtful and kind, thank you so much for taking such good care of us.

What a fabulous property! Huge, tastefully decorated rooms, a kitchen that had every gadget and facilities you could possibly need. But by far the greatest attraction was the amazing views and (slightly cloudy, as it had rained) sunset. A fabulous covered terrace was the icing on the cake. Bedrooms were sumptuous and the free parking with just a short walk to town an added Bonus. Hayden was a great host and we got to meet Dave his resident owl. A perfect short break, we'll be back!

Absolutely lovely spot, this is our second visit to Sally’s place we love it, the location is perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Beautiful property with everything you need, clean and tidy the perfect home from home.

We had a great stay and would recommend this property and Betws Y Coed in general as a base for exploring the area. It’s very homely and it had everything we needed. We’d love to stay again if we return!

This place is such a beautiful find, amazing views. Such a big space so clean and comfortable. The location is perfect we took a trip to Snowdon we had 3 adults each took a bed each so comfortable. The space is so large and there is so much. Also we left a jacket behind and Thomas and Lyndsey were kind enough to let us know. I would definitely come back again.

Jessica’s place is amazing. Highly recommend! The views are amazing, and it’s the perfect location for Snowden and town. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay with mates.

My friend and I had a lovely weekend in the cottage. Everything was super clean, comfy beds and great facilities. Not far to travel to aberfalls, zip world and great coastal walks. Very peaceful and private, great for a relaxed and wholesome getaway

Beautiful, tastefully decorated house, exactly as pictured. Very clean, with all amenities and a lovely little private terrace. Direct sea view and very quiet location. Well located for excursions in the surrounding area. Very friendly and pleasant communication with the host. The perfect place for a few relaxing days. We would love to come back.

Had a wonderful stay at The Cherries. It felt very homely, comfortable and welcoming. The bungalow was light and pleasant with a small enclosed garden that our dog fully enjoyed. There is a raised decking area with furniture and 2 sunbeds lower in the garden. With it being a dormer bungalow, everything was on one level and easily accessible which was ideal as holidaying with elderly parents. The upper bedroom and en-suite was beautiful and offered privacy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at Wendy’s place. Amazing views, beautiful and comfortable house extremely well equipped and designed. Lots to do exploring the area and beyond and always lovely to come back and enjoy the views particularly from the upstairs lounge. We’d love to come back again.

Absolutely perfect stay during a race weekend at Anglesey circuit. Stayed as a family of four with two young kids. It had everything we needed and really felt like a home from home. Dave’s communication was spot on, thank you!

Had a lovely stay overnight for a wedding at Tower Hill Barns. Was a perfect location only a five minute walk away! David’s instructions to find the air bnb were really helpful and detailed which make it an easy find and smooth check in! It was also a lovely gesture to leave welshcakes and milk in the fridge. Would definitely stay again if back in the area, cosy & homely 😊

Alyson is a friendly and helpful host. We really enjoyed our stay in her lovely apartment. It is so convenient for shops, restraunts, train station and seafront, all are in easy walking distance. Gated parking for added security.

Small but perfectly formed! So much packed into the space - everything I needed was there ❤️and the Welsh cakes were much appreciated. I’ll certainly use it as a base in Llangollen again. And the tip about long term parking at the Co-op was a good one (I used the Just Park app). Thank you Rosemary

we had a lovely 3 day stay at Heidi's place, the apartment was beautiful with the most gorgeous view, it had everything that we needed and was spotless ! barmouth town centre is less than a 5 minute walk away from the apartment which was fabulous and Heidi gave us plenty of recommendations of places to go and places to eat. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

Such a lovely apartment, perfect for what we needed. The host is a great balance of giving you privacy but quick to respond to messages if you have any questions. It's exactly as stated, easy to access, great rooms (I want to move in to the bathroom for the shower alone!), had everything we could have thought of, and is in a brilliant location. The local woodland area was 30 seconds down the road and perfect for taking the dog

I can't say enough about this stay. Yes, it was exactly as described, beautiful and overlooking the water. Yes, the location was perfect and walkable to everything. But what really stood out was the unbelievable responsiveness and kindness of the host, Nia. When due to my own failings I couldn't figure out the lock box, one message and they were down to help me in and even carry my luggage up within 10 minutes. When I had a confusion about dates, again through my own scattered brain, they were incredibly kind and helpful. In the system where so many airbnb's are more of a corporate and business nature, it was wonderful to have the personal touch. If I ever need an Airbnb in Aber again, this is the only one for me. I wish I could give it more than five stars.
