We are pleased to offer our brick and flint cottage situated in the popular town of Holt. The cottage believed to date to 1780 has wide oak floorboards and sash windows overlooking neighbouring other houses. The cottage is within the town centre which offers many charming shops, restaurants, galleries and coffee shops. We had a great stay. The lodge is brill - clean, spacious, and in a really nice setting. It's well equipped and child friendly so perfect for us with two toddlers. Holt itself is lovely, we've been many times before and it's a great base to explore the coast from. All in all a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend. Thanks Julie :-)

We had a great stay in Holt, the property has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay and is so well located both to walk to shops and restaurants in the town, but also as a base to drive to the local coastal areas.

A dining table is set with four plates and utensils, complemented by woven placemats. A round wooden tray holds a white pot with a small green plant as a centerpiece. In the background, a comfortable seating area is seen with a dark grey sofa and a clock on the wall.

'The Retreat' Stylish one bedroom apartment, Holt

The apartment was as described. This was in an excellent location. Very close to all that Holt has to offer. Super clean and comfortable. Having a dedicated parking space within a five minute walk was a rare find in Holt. Be aware this is a small apartment block and as such there are people above you and you can hear them walking about. The bedroom window is on a street so you need the blinds down for privacy. If you are cooking for yourself you’ll need fresh milk, salt and pepper, cooking oil and measuring spoons and cups plus a garlic press and a range of knives.

A narrow outdoor space is enclosed by wooden fencing, providing a sense of privacy. The ground is covered with small gravel, and the walls of the property are painted in light colors. Direct sunlight enhances the clarity of the area.

The Plover, Retreat at Ten Acres near Holt

We stayed for five nights at Peta's place with our two year old. The house is so beautiful and the surroundings so calm and peaceful. Peta recommended a few walks out of the door for little legs but you do need to go a little further afield for longer walks which we didn't mind at all. Everything was spotless on arrival and we had a lovely cake a local apple juice waiting for us on arrival. Peta was always responsive and gave us great ideas on things to do. The bed is SO comfy and we all slept very well during our stay. We weren't blessed with the best weather but when we could, sitting in the two gardens was perfect. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Praze Cottage was the perfect bolt hole for our family of four (two adults, two teenagers). It is as central as can be in Holt making everything within walking distance. The cottage makes great use of every bit of space and combines old school Norfolk charm with sparklingly clean facilities and very comfortable beds. The teenagers loved being able to roam about Holt while we attended some events at Gresham’s School (also within easy walking distance). Richard provided excellent communication regarding arrival and departure and we didn’t have to bother him further during our trip as everything was very clear and hassle free once inside. We look forward to returning very soon!
