Darcy’s Cottage is a quiet, characterful newly-refurbished one-bedroom cottage on the edge of a wood near Assington, close to Sudbury & Dedham Vale. Assington has a village shop, café and vibrant pub, with many rural walks on the doorstep. The cottage has a snug with woodburning stove, a bathroom with walk-in shower, outdoor space and a barbecue, as well as two TVs and high-speed wifi. It is next door to Brian’s Cottage, with which it shares a communicating door if needed for family use.

Old Maltings Annex

The annex is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Accessed by the main front door one then enters one's own private space. Recently converted it offers a fantastic double room. It is very light and airy. Fully heated so nice and cosy. There is a television with sky and wifi, table and chairs and basin. Downstairs there is a bathroom, with heated towel rail and luxury bath with hand held shower. twin room downstairs next to the bathroom. NO ACTUAL KITCHEN!! fridge, toaster, kettle
