Monthly Rentals in Little Hayfield

An absolute gem….perfect for our two night stay - in a gorgeous village, walking distance to a wonderful pub, an easy drive to numerous other places of interest, and stunning walking right from the door. The place was exactly as it promised to be - beautifully decorated, immaculate, private, and had everything you need for a short stay. We did not meet the hosts, but not through any fault of theirs - we were just out & about a lot! Definitely recommend, and will visit again if we are in the area.

We had a good time staying at Clare’s cottage — it was comfortable, well-equipped, and well-located for accessing the Peaks for walking, and Manchester for a gig. The listing was accurate (e.g. about the access to the top bedroom being via the other bedroom.) Our two-year-old loved the park opposite. We recommend!

We've just spent a lovely week at this property in Hayfield. It was a great accommodation and perfectly matched our needs for our first ever visit to the Peak District. The local area and walks are stunning and varied in nature, everything from flat (dismantled railways) to the challenge of Kinder Scout. We spent hours walking and exploring but it was always a pleasure to return home at the end of a long day for a hot shower and comfortable surroundings. The excellent communication and simple check in/out made for a stress free stay. The house is well equipped and there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen but we didn't actually use them very much as eating out in the village pubs and restaurants was our preference after a long day in the hills. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return in the future.

Fantastic stay. Very clean. Hanna and Chris went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The views are stunning and we started all of our walks from the cottage. Easy walk into the village. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back :)
