A peaceful rural retreat

"A recently refurbished self-contained annex in the midst of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Close to the Chilterns, the pretty market towns of Thame and Watlington and just 20 minutes drive from Oxford. There are excellent walks and numerous pubs and restaurants with delicious food and warm fires. The property is a separate annex from the main house and is perfect for a relaxing break. It has a sitting area and kitchen, a bedroom with beautiful views, a superking bed and a modern bathroom.

Welcome to Honeysuckle, our luxury shepherd's hut with stunning views across the fields in the Chilterns. In the evenings sit and watch the sun go down around your fire pit or stay cosy indoors with your log burner. We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in March/April 2025!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. You have your own secluded, fenced and private garden area with seating.

Entrance on ground floor to hallway & shower room with electric shower, sink, loo, towels. Stairs leading to first floor eaves bedroom (mind your head upstairs) with double bed, small sofa, tv, wi-fi, hairdryer, fairy lights, kitchenette with kettle, minifridge, microwave (no strong foods pls), coffee machine, tea, coffee, snacks, crockery, cutlery & glasses.

A country hideout above our detached oak framed barn. Stylishly furnished in a rustic luxury theme ensuring this little retreat ticks all boxes to make your stay comfortable & cosy! Very spacious and an ideal place to come and relax for a romantic countryside break. Fantastic pub just 50m from the doorstep that serves food most days (please check) but there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves. We are a few minutes from all the tourist attractions of the historic city of Oxford including, the University Colleges, the Ashmolean Museum, Pitt Rivers Museum, the Bodleian Library, the Thames for punting, the Westgate shopping centre, University Parks, Port Meadow etc. We are 30 minutes drive from Blenheim Palace and 20 minutes from Bicester Village outlet shopping centre.

Our newly renovated self contained studio is attached to our home and is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of clifton Hampden. We are a five minute walk from the Thames footpath which is perfect for enjoying this beautiful stretch of the river either towards Wallingford or Oxford. The studio has an equipped kitchen area and separate shower room. There is parking and the studio has its own separate entrance. The decor is modern and clean with a cosy ambiance.

Quiet beautiful village

Independent private unit with private facility next to main house. I will be available if wanted. Very small, especially for two but manageable, hence the price, ( I try to keep the price as long as I can ), but very pretty, very comfortable bed for two, and good Wifi and good shower, a big fridge in the garage for your foods, beer or wine. You will not see me unless you want to!!!?. It is not a luxurious cottage. The Crown and Inn at Emmington there.
