Gorgeous Glamping Hideaway Rowan

The place is amazing, in a small pod there was all I could think about, starting from kitchenware and including dishwasher and washer. There were also caps for machines, tea, coffee, salt and pepper. And complimentary bottle of prosecco made our staying glamorous.

Amazing escape from the busy world. We loved the calm environment at the bothy and the wildlife in the surroundings. Spending some days without permanent electricity and cooking on the Rayburn was a great experience to slow down during holidays

The Strath Pod- with stunning loch view

TimoRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Loved our two-Night stay in the pod with a beautiful view. Moira is an amazing Host, we enjoyed to chat with her during breakfast. She not only prepared a delicious breakfast but also took her time to map out a Route for us to explore the surrounding area. We used the kitchen to prepare meals in the evening- it provided everything we needed and was also Super cozy and clean. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Bunker

JulianneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Such a beautiful opportunity to experience the quiet and authentic side of Stornaway. We loved every minute we spent at The Bunker! The views were spectacular and the sunrises/sunsets ever changing. The kitchen was sprinkled with locally baked treats and even homemade jam for us to enjoy. It was such a delight. The only drawback, for me personally, is how I move forward with no warming towel rack in my life!! I can’t unfeel the delightfulness of warmed clothes on a chilly morning. They are not common in the states. On a scale of one to ten, The Bunker was easily a 72 ;).

Wow what a stunning place this is! The view is exactly like in the pictures, so peaceful and such a great place to watch the world go by. Angus and Ishbel were fantastic hosts and very welcoming. The place was very well equipt with everything you could need and spotlessly clean. It is very well situated for exploring the surrounding area - we enjoyed lots of beautiful hill walks and beaches. We even managed to spot a few seals while sitting out on the deck. What a brilliant week - we would definitely come back!

Outstanding coastal views at Sandy Bay Pod

CaitlínRating, 5 stars5 days ago
My partner and I had a wonderful stay in this cozy pod. The view from the deck was stunning and especially enjoyed when the weather was good, when we were able to sit out with a glass of wine :) A car is definitely needed to get around the area as it is quite rural but if a getaway to the countryside is what you're after, I can wholeheartedly recommend!
