The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a small double bed & wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

Our 17th Century, characterful Yorkshire longhouse provides a spacious, retreat, and a fantastic base for family and friends to meet up with plenty of opportunities for days out in the surrounding North York Moors. The house is in the vibrant market town of Pickering with it's famous heritage railway. Pickering has a cafes, restaurants and pubs along it's bustling high street and a weekly market selling fresh, local produce. 7+2 guests (sofa bed in the snug for 2 guests at an extra charge)

Unwind in our stunning 3 bed barn conversion with its high beamed ceilings and bright and airy open plan living space, all fitted out to a high standard. The property is situated on our working farm in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, 2 miles from Malton. A perfect base for biking , walking or visiting the North Yorkshire moors , East coast or York. There are lots of local village pubs within 2.5 miles of us where you can go for a drink or meal or even visit the food capital of Malton.

‘The Workshop’ is ideal for those who love visiting historic homes & beautiful gardens; Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall, Scampston Hall are all a short drive away. Relax in your own private garden & enjoy waking up to the birdsong in the morning. Open plan living, underfloor heating & log burner makes a cosy hideaway, or throw open the doors on to south facing garden & enjoy a glass of rose in the summer sun. Within easy walking distance of many shops, tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and the castle, there is parking very close by. Castlegate cottage is a perfect base for exploring the many local attractions and places of interest, such as The Steam railway, Beck Isle museum, The North Yorkshire Moors, Whitby, Scarborough, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, Dalby Forest and York.

Old Forge in Wrelton, North Yorkshire.

This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.

Fir Tree Farm's recently converted barn is set in the centre of our small working farm. The peaceful location is perfectly placed for several locations that make up a perfect holiday or short break. The market towns of Pickering, Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside and Malton, are nearby. Flamingo Land, Castle Howard and Eden Camp are short car rides away and Whitby, Scarborough and York just a little further.
