The cottage accommodates 4 adults, a child and a baby, in 3 upstairs bedrooms: 1 (king) double, 1 with two singles, 1 with smaller bed and travel cot.

The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a double bed with wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

‘The Workshop’ is ideal for those who love visiting historic homes & beautiful gardens; Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall, Scampston Hall are all a short drive away. With exposed original features and rich colour schemes drawn from the picturesque surroundings of the Haworth moors (where Cathy and Heathcliffe ran wild!) guests can expect to be transported to an earlier time whilst still benefiting from the luxury of modern-day amenities.

Old Forge in Wrelton, North Yorkshire.

This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.

Barn conversion on farm - sleeps 4

Fir Tree Farm's recently converted barn is set in the centre of our small working farm. The peaceful location is perfectly placed for several locations that make up a perfect holiday or short break. The market towns of Pickering, Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside and Malton, are nearby. Flamingo Land, Castle Howard and Eden Camp are short car rides away and Whitby, Scarborough and York just a little further.
