Charming cottage in beautiful nature with sauna

Hugely charming wooden house located on 5000 m2 of undisturbed surroundings overlooking a scenic and protected area with heathland. Occasionally, a deer or two will stop by. The house is located on the eastern part of the island in the Kromose area. A quiet beach facing the Wadden Sea to the east, which is part of UNESCO's natural heritage, is only 500 meters walking distance on a path. Enjoy your morning coffee and tranquility on one of the lovely terraces or on the covered terrace. There is a great opportunity to see the northern lights in the winter months.

Cottage by the Wadden Sea

Hans and I rent out our lovely renovated cottage by the Wadden Sea. The house is big, spacious and cozy. There is a spa, activity room with table tennis, and large outdoor area. Distance to the Wadden Sea is 1.5 km and about 20 km to Rømø with wide white beaches. There are shopping opportunities in Skærbæk and Højer. There's peace and quiet, but with plenty of opportunities for excursions in the area. The area is part of the Wadden Sea National Park. In the fall you can experience "Black Sun". Possibility of two extra beds for children.

Welcome to this beautiful and peaceful cottage, located on a 2600 sqm natural plot, 1.4 km from the wide sandy beaches of the North Sea, 2 km from the nearest town and 500 m from the dog forest. Here you get the best of both worlds - tranquility, nature and proximity to both water and city life. The house is tastefully decorated with a sense of detail and comfort. The large, cozy terrace environments invite you to relax in the sun, have barbecue dinners with family and friends, or enjoy quiet moments with a good book and birdsong.

You will be staying close to the Wadden Sea, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Højer is worth a visit with the beautiful old houses and the small streets with sights such as Højer mill, Højer sluse, arts and crafts. The home: Ground floor contains a small kitchen, hallway with stairs to 1st floor, bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with double bed, dining room, and TV room. TV with the option to cast. 1st floor, small toilet, two bedrooms with double beds. You bring your own bed linen and towels.

The "Haus Mellhörn" is located in an elevated position with high-quality equipment and with beautiful views of the large hiking dune with the unique Lister dune and heathland. Large living/dining room, open country house kitchen, fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, 2 shower rooms, sauna, LCD TV, Wi-Fi, large south-facing terrace, 2 beach chairs, 2 parking spaces. In about 250 meters distance you will find the beautiful Lister Oststrand. Gastronomy, bike rental and supermarket in about 2 km.

This is what holiday dreams under thatch look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a plot of almost 1000 square meters with a fantastic view, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. One dog is also welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily accessible by day trip by car, train or boat.

From Humptrup, the North Sea is about 20 km away! The ideal starting point for day trips to the North Frisian islands and Halligen (e.g. Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Hooge, Oland, Hamburger Hallig). The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

Stay in charming old farm from the 18th century. The farm belonged in its heyday The King's equestrian foyer and was one of the largest farms in the area which the farmhouse and the breeding buildings are still characterized by. The house is old and the decor has been chosen with respect for history and with a significant part of the family furniture.
