Snowberry Cottage • Cosy, peaceful retreat

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Snowberry Cottage. This was a perfect cosy home from home. Everything about the cottage was thoughtfully set out. It was well equipped and well extremely comfortable. Barbara was very communicative and efficient. The area was interesting. We would urge people to explore the far north of the island. We ate at the Borve hotel - an excellent meal. We would highly recommend this properly.

An aerial view captures a secluded beach bordered by jagged cliffs and lush green fields. The turquoise waves crash onto the sandy shore, creating a gentle contrast with the vibrant landscape. Patterns of the land, shaped by farming, can be seen extending towards the coastline.

We had a lovely stay in the annexe - which is actually a lovely one bedroom house. It was immaculate when we arrived and we loved the furnishings. The shower was great - double shower with rainforest shower head. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept so well. Lighthouse and lovely beach just along the road but there are glorious beaches all over the island - stunning! Highly recommend Joanne’s ‘annexe’ which was just lovely to head back to at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. Thank you for letting us stay 😁

We had lovely stay, the house is clean and modern and yet very cosy, we felt at home. We most appreciated how child friendly the house was, I wish all rentals were like this. The stair gates, child door locks were a god send. We also appreciated how flexible Andrea was. We'd love to come back again.

Wow what a stunning place this is! The view is exactly like in the pictures, so peaceful and such a great place to watch the world go by. Angus and Ishbel were fantastic hosts and very welcoming. The place was very well equipt with everything you could need and spotlessly clean. It is very well situated for exploring the surrounding area - we enjoyed lots of beautiful hill walks and beaches. We even managed to spot a few seals while sitting out on the deck. What a brilliant week - we would definitely come back!

South Dell Pod Isle of Lewis

GregorRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay here. The pod was perfect - a lovely quiet location with a great view over the fields to the sea. My wife loved the chance to feed to lambs. Excellent location for getting away from everything but being able to travel around the Island. Highly recommended.

The cottage was perfect and Jenny was very helpful and pointed us out to beautiful places in Lewis and Harris. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very cosy. Everything we needed was there. It was wonderful and we would definitely return. The area was very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely recommend these cottages.
