"Al Castello"

My accommodation is close to public transport and the city centre. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids) and large groups. From us having the museum and the MOTO GUZZI factory 4 km away, motorcyclists are welcome, and the proximity of Varenna allows you to visit the entire lake center,Bellagio, Menaggio, Punta Balbianello, etc.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and we wanted to sincerely thank our hosts for this beautiful experience. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, kindness and great kindness. We immediately felt at ease, like at home. The apartment was simply amazing: tastefully decorated, extremely clean, spacious, bright, and above all, filled with small touches that show how much our hosts care about hosting well. Every detail seemed thought out to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Nothing was missing, the equipment is complete, and everything is functional and of quality. The location is also a huge plus: ideally located for visiting the surroundings, discovering the must-see places or simply strolling around the neighborhood. House of the ancient wash house

My wife an I stayed for the celebrations in Mandello for the 100th centenary of Moto Guzzi. Luca our host was really kind and picked us up from Lecco train Station. The house was beautiful in a quiet village nestling on the hillside approx 2 km walk from Mandello. There is a lovely footpath that runs through the village to Mandello. The walk down to the Beach in Abbadia Larianna is approx 1km with an excellent park, cafe and swimming which we did often. You can easily walk from the Station to the accommodation. It is quite hilly but that is to be expected in this area. The village has a lovely feel to it with very narrow old streets. We sat on the balcony each evening pleased with our choice. The house has everything you need. The top room is delightful and the main bedroom has a huge comfortable bed. There is lots of storage space. A garage washing machine it really is a home. I became a little poorly at the end of our holiday and Luca was in constant contact offering help. This was top service. My wife and I are in our mid 65 and 67 respectively and found the walking no problem. I can only fully recommend this delightful place. Thanks Luca

A nice, cozy apartment in a nice, quiet village. There are plenty of towns nearby for when you want to get out of the hustle and bustle, but it's always nice to come back to the picturesque village in the evening. The apartment overlooks the lake very nicely and has all the comforts. The hosts are also very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back!

Elisa’s place exceeded our already high expectations. We were very excited prior to arrival due to the beautiful design seen in the listing photos, the property was even nicer in person. The work was very well done with every little detail thought of. Elisa was a fantastic host, always responding quickly with excellent recommendations and advice.
