The Heart House in NewBo

"The best Airbnb stateside!" according to one guest review. Just one block from NewBo Market in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, this sparkling clean, cozy and eclectic space is the upper apartment of an 1890s era home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Once slated for demolition, the Heart House was fully restored (in a way that charms everyone) to include a first floor shop and a second floor apartment. Guests especially love the clawfoot tub with rainfall showerhead.

A cozy living area is presented with a dark leather sofa and a matching armchair, complemented by light wood flooring. A ceiling fan is overhead, and a flat-screen TV is mounted above a brick fireplace. An open view leads to the dining area with a wooden table and chairs.

Cozy, spacious cottage with character!

Cozy, spacious cottage with a beautiful sunroom porch where guests can enjoy peace and quite. Free Wi-Fi, conveniently located within minutes of downtown, great restaurants, shopping mall and grocery store is right up the road! Basement has a comfortable area for guests to unwind and watch a movie. There is plenty of sleeping space, 3 beds and 2 futons, 1.5 baths, large dining room table with plenty of space. The character within this home is absolutely gorgeous. You wont be disappointed!

Newly remodeled home just off 1st Avenue West in Cedar Rapids. 3 bedrooms and full bath on 2nd floor with living room, dining room and kitchen on main floor. Note 4th bedroom is in attic on 3rd floor which is finished but can be colder in winter and warmer in the summer. Space heater and window AC available. Great spot for getting around town with easy I-380 access. Mr. B's, Hacienda Las Glorias and Westside Maid-Rite all within 1 block of this home.
