Lindos places to stay

Lovely apartment situated in a great part of town. The view of the acropolis was wonderful and sitting on the balcony at night seeing it all lit up was really special. The apartment was really easy to get dropped off by the taxi and it’s close to all the great bars,restaurants and shops too. St Paul’s bay is just a few minutes walk too. We had a fabulous time and are very much looking forward to returning next year. Anita was really lovely and on hand should we have needed anything, very polite, professional, helpful and friendly. Wonderful place and perfect location right in the heart of Lindos. Anthi is a very responsive and attentive host. She made us feel right at home and was able to provide us with recommendations, reservations, etc. The layout was perfect for our family (with two kids). Highly recommend.

This gorgeous antique house is updated with lovely furnishings and efficient kitchen and bathroom. Great AC and perfect steaming hot tub on the roof. The sleeping arrangements are quirky due to the age of the house but we quickly adapted and the beds are such high quality we all slept brilliantly. Proximity to St Paul’s bay for morning swims was delightful. Felt truly lucky and so happy in Grand Casa. Thank you!

The home is actually 3 BR with the ground floor doing double duty as a “den”. This is a great gathering area that may be difficult to enjoy collectively if also used as a bedroom. Kitchen well appointed incl snacks. Beds were comfy + bathrooms stylish + utilitarian. IF you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. The terrace looks out to the sea + village…and is right above the space where families congregate in the evening. Children playing, screaming, crying, parents “guiding”, balls bouncing until at least 10pm every night. One night until midnight. One night I heard banging on the front door and checked the terrace out of concern. I walked outside right into a young girl who had scaled the wall and onto our terrace to collect an errant ball. I am a parent and loved witnessing the joyfulness of the gatherings…just not for hours on end while on vacation.

The apartment is even better than the photos, particularly the bedroom with the ensuite shower but also the open plan living room/dining/kitchen area making for a very enjoyable stay. Maria was an excellent host and while there is no garden she has created an outside sitting area with cushions and fabrics with a view to the acropolis and amphitheatre from the steps and a table/chairs for two opposite. All in all, a very enjoyable week on the island.

We had an amazing time in Casa Corvo and our hearts are full of beautiful memories. The old house is even more beautiful than it appears on the photos and has everything you need. It is really old as described by the owners and has a lot of charme. The old furniture creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. The airconditioning is really helpful in the midday heat. The location of the house is perfect. Although it is in a quiet area, you are in the middle of everything. We loved swimming in the St.Pauls bay 5 minutes away and to stroll through the little streets of Lindos which begin just a few steps away from the house. The hosts Chiara and Gaia were really friendly and welcoming and could be reached quickly if you had any questions. Thank you for everything, we will come back for sure!

we have had the best time ever and emmanuel was the best host, by being super responsive and friendly and reachable. The house is amazing and so beautiful and we could have not wished for a better stay. 100%, Will recommend this to my friends and family! Note that you just need a proper car to get to the Accomodation, but if you are looking for peace and beautiful scenery, this is the best place!!!!

A simply sensational stay at “On The Rocks” in Symi. The accommodation is exactly as the listing describes, and is so very beautiful, peaceful and remarkable. To open the shutters onto the view of Nimborio bay, the waves gently lapping against the wall below, was a glorious start to each day. A drink on the terrace/platform as the sun went down, the water all around us, was a glorious end to each day. Being away from the bustle of Symi town, but a gentle 30 minute walk to it (we rented e-bikes - a fun 8 minute cycle!) is a real blessing. And our own sunbeds and swimming platform meant no need to travel to a beach each day. Perfect! A very proactive, helpful host. A great stay. A beautiful place.
