Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Limerick

The historic home was amazing and in a perfect location- a few doors from the grocery store, across the street from the park, and a new tea house just recently opened less than a minute walk away. The house had everything we needed for our family and it was nice to be able to cook in a beautiful kitchen. Great host too! We loved learning about the history of the home.

Enjoyed my stay, Mary & Richard were great hosts. Their place was perfect as a home base while I visited Ireland. Mary & Richard also reached out to a local man (John) who was able to help me with some family research. If I have another opportunity to visit the area I would definitely stay at Mary's again.

We were in Ireland for a family wedding and gathering of family from US and UK . Sandys house was just fantastic - so comfortable & spacious ,a clutter free and contemporary home - perfect for two small children and a mixed group of adult relatives. Would highly recommend as a base for touring the local area or further afield. Perfect to return to at the end of a busy day.

Cute cottages, cozy and quiet. I had a slight problem with the cottage I booked, the listing said fireplace, but the cottage I had didn't have one. Clinton immediately switched my booking to another one that did have a fireplace, which was perfect during a cold and rainy weekend in Ireland.

We absolutely loved staying at Donna's place. Her house was stunning and absolutely spotless. It provided the privacy we were looking for while also being within walking distance to cafes, pubs, and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here!

It would be great in the house. Very cozy and with everything you need for a stay. Everything was perfect and with everything you need to be comfortable. Very good location for the city center. The host is always attentive to your needs.

This is a very comfortable, quiet, spacious house that offers all self-catering amenities. 4 of us slept soundly after a long travel day. Pity we had to leave early. Next time we will stay longer. We all recommend this cozy home, especially to families.. kids will love the cows. Thanks for sharing this lovely spot Margie!

Wish we could have stayed longer!! My 9 year old says that petting and feeding the pony was the highlight of our whole Ireland trip! 💚 The cottage was so cosy and welcoming. Beds were very comfy (there are curtains but we brought a travel blackout curtain for our son and I was glad). Nice to have blankets to snuggle with in the living room and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was also such a treat to have a few groceries in the fridge, what a thoughtful gesture. We can tell that Anne really loves the place, it shows! I’d love to come back and have time to just relax 😌

We stayed in 3 airbnbs in Dublin on this trip and Mary’s was leaps and bounds above the others. The beds were great! All the others had very hard beds and flat pillows. Mary’s place might have saved our backs and sanity.

Lovely stay in a fabulous place

Beautiful tranquil place very private. It's 20 minutes drive from Limerick city centre so you will need your own car to get around. We would thoroughly recommend this place.

Lils Airbnb just outside the enchanting village of Adare was perfect. Ten minute walk to town. Beautiful garden. She was extremely responsive and helpful. She even brought us back to town on our final day and returned with our luggage at our bus departure time! Beds were very comfortable , slept well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mike’s place. It was perfectly clean and comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Mike was incredibly responsive and made sure the place was set up perfectly prior to our arrival. We were 2 moms and 2 daughters and felt very safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Tullio went above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing. He provided all the comforts of home and thought of every last detail, even supplying bread, jams, wine and sweets. He gave recommendations in the area, and all his instructions were clearly outlined in a booklet. I would definitely recommend Tullio’s place!

We had a wonderful stay at Ellen’s place. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with a very convenient location. Ellen is a warm and thoughtful host—communication was smooth and she responded quickly to any questions we had. She made us feel at home even though we were far away. If we have the chance, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time at Sarah's place. Great location - out of the way enough to be peaceful - but close enough to Adare and Limerick for exploring. The unit has everything you need for a few days break - we would def stay at Sarah's again.

I can’t praise this stay enough! The most gorgeous , peaceful and quiet location surrounded by nature. It was exactly what I was looking for to recharge my batteries and focus on work. There was plenty of beautiful trails to walk and even cycle with the bikes Grainne had available ! The apartment was gorgeous , clean and had amazing facilities and amenities, everything you could need from ALL the kitchen appliances to hair dryers or a washing machine. It even had a designated work space with a printer which was ideal for my work. Grainne was a great host ! Super friendly , very quick to respond and even came out to see me off when I was leaving. Will definitely be staying again !!

Good apartment, well located to city centre. Bit noisy during the day from busy road traffic.

Ann’s place in Adare was wonderful. It was close to the main part of town but was also quiet and peaceful. Ann was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We felt right at home staying at her place. She also went above and beyond to leave us breakfast and fresh bread. If I come back to Adare, I will definitely stay here again!
