Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in the middle of the lush countryside this beautiful old cottage with it's 3 foot thick walls is privacy personified, a cat and pony being your closest neighbours. Yet only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful village of Adare and 35 minutes drive to Shannon International Airport. Curraghchase Forest Park is 3 minutes away by car and the cottage is 2 minutes away from the N69 which is part of the network of roads on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Little Vista

You are going to stay in our small but cozy guest house in the middle of the country site in the village of Birdhill. Its a self contained guest house with a kitchen/living room, small double bedroom and bathroom. We are conveniently located only 10 min away from M7 motorway (exit 27), and 20 min away from Limerick City. Shannon airport 40 min drive. Killaloe/ Ballina which is located only 10min drive from our house is one of the most picturesque village attractions with plenty of restaurants.

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Its only a 20 minute drive to Limerick City and close to Clare Glens and Glenstal Abbey.
