The farmette is conveniently located 2 miles from town, set off the road, and through the woods. The cottage is located on the edge of our woodland area. This Earthen house is made of sand, straw and clay. Nestled in a valley it is a peaceful and unique getaway. The cabin has four comfortable single beds and electricity, a wood stove for winter. Outside a fire pit and grill. A hand washing sink inside; and port-o-let toilet outside. You may be able to drive in (weather/road condition depending). Enjoyed a short anniversary getaway and it was perfect for us! Cute cabin and it was very clean with everything you need and more! The road is very quiet and a nice place to walk.

What an amazing stay at Twin Pines! As Wyoming natives now living in the Chicagoland area, we’ve seen a lot—but nothing could’ve prepared us for Shelia’s next-level hospitality. The farmhouse was cozy, full of charm, and stocked with every comfort (and craving!) you could possibly imagine. If it could be eaten, sipped, or savored, Shelia had it covered! THANK YOU!! We spent our days exploring parks, fishing like pros (or trying to), and cruising scenic drives while asking ourselves, Are we really still in Wisconsin? Thank you, Shelia, for making us feel so welcome and for thinking of everything before we even knew we needed it. We'll be talking about this stay for a long time, and yes, we’re already planning our return! 🫶🏻🥰

Our family of three plus two dogs had a great stay at Rebel's place! We loved that the cabin was set far back from the road, so our pups could safely explore the property. The setting is very serene and the only noises we heard were from the birds and frogs at the pond. The cabin itself was well stocked with everything we could need and the town of Hillsboro was just a short drive away. We would definitely return!
