Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Excellent séjour chez Karin, dans un appartement agréable, spacieux, très propre. La terrasse privative est un atout. La communication a été excellente et Karin a toujours été très réactive. La station balnéaire de Noordwijk est à 10' en voiture. Attention si vous avez le sommeil léger, il y a de nombreux animaux chez Karin (chevaux, poules, chien) et ils se réveillent tôt !

Hugo was the perfect host from check in to check out. He was a wealth of knowledge and his property is truly stunning. We cycled from Dunkirk and after 3 days of hard cycling wanted somewhere nice to relax. This place did just that. Hugo was very accommodating and couldn’t do more to help. Thankyou Hugo for being a credit to Airbnb. ( your dog is nice too! )

We found the perfect spot to spend a few days in the Breukelen / Maarssen area. Able to live like a local by biking to shops and touring the area. Nicolette and Remko made our stay so pleasant and were very friendly to help with plans or a quick chat. The space inside was lovely and roomy. Lots of place to relax outside too. Great biking and boating in the area - follow their recommendations. Most welcoming hosts we have met. Thank you for everything.

Vi hade en härlig semester i Ingeborgs hus. Det var rymligt för vår familj och låg i ett lugnt område. Huset hade en egen brygga vid kanalen och gott om plats att sitta utomhus och i uterummet beroende på väder. Vi parkerade vår bil enkelt utanför huset och åkte med kollektivtrafiken in till stan. Det enda som gick att anmärka på, var att köket kunde varit bättre städat. Men helhetsupplevelsen var toppen!

We loved staying on Emanuel's boat. It was beautiful inside, large and well-furnished. Everything we needed was there (although we could have used directions on the expresso machine!). The kitchen was very well appointed with any dishes or utensils one might want. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern, with a beautiful shower. We enjoyed seeing various boats going by right at eye level, and there were close by and accessible fruit stores, delis and grocery stores. Emanuel was flexible about the timing of our check-in, which we appreciated. Overall exceeded expectations!
