Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Ligaria

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was walkable to the downtown area and harbour, but also quiet at night and not too busy. It was an easy ride from the airport and the location is also very close to the highway so it’s easy to head to the beach or other towns! Also good local bakeries and gyros in the area! :)

Niki and Cristos were really lovely and friendly hosts. Fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and cake, wine etc were provided and left in the apartment. The apartment was bright and clean. They treated us as family and really made us feel at home. Surrounded by the most amazing mountains. Beautiful people on beautiful Bali. What more could you ask for? Eif charisto! We had the most wonderful stay at Katerina's place. Katerina was kind enough to meet us for check-in and show us around the place. The apartment was even nicer than the photos suggest - everything was pristinely clean and the view out to the sea was stunning. Every day we were treated to a greeting from her 15+ cats and her lovely dog Markos who really made the trip even more memorable. Katerina is so kind, a wonderful host, and made us feel like the apartment was our home for the four days we were there. She even brought us homemade cake on our check out. We would highly highly recommend Katerina's place and would absolutely stay again.

The apartment is super well equipped, everything is brand new and exactly as in the pictures. We especially loved the location - close to anywhere you want to go but still in a quiet residential street. No bars or noisy tourists on that street. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Michalis’ apartment had everything we wanted and more. The washer/dryer was a huge plus. This is a great location with most things in walking distance and many parking lots nearby. We had trouble opening the lock box to get the keys but Michalis answered instantly and helped us right away. Very responsive host and clean apartment - would definitely stay here again!

The location was absolutely perfect. We were close to all amenities and we were able to explore most everything on foot. The unit itself was large and beautiful and gave each of us our own space. It was clean and comfortable. We would definitely book this place again!’

Such a lovely stay!!!! Mareike and Georgios was extremely helpful they organised a taxi for me and picked up in the little village since my husband was coming later with our car. The place was very peaceful and private. I thought there would be a restaurant but honestly it’s a good thing on the location there isn’t one because it made it very peaceful that a restaurant was not next door. Georgios even organised a BBQ for us which was a highlight that we could just BBQ at home. They were extremely helpful and provided us with loads of local recommendations. I would come back any day!!!!!

We had a great week at this house at the sea. Our boys loved it. We will come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa, starting with a warm welcome on our first night. Antonis’ mother kindly prepared a thoughtful dinner for us, which was especially appreciated since we arrived late and didn’t have time to go out for food. He was also incredibly attentive and made it clear we could reach out to him anytime with questions or needs. Throughout our stay, he provided us with great recommendations on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. The villa also featured a lovely outdoor pizza oven, and they generously provided us with pizza dough, firewood, and everything we needed to enjoy it. They even made sure we had everything we needed for a barbecue. Overall, it was a fantastic experience thanks to their hospitality and thoughtful touches.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

The pictures do not adequately capture the beauty of this place. We loved staying at Eleftherio’s home. They warmly greeted us and quickly made us feel like family. They treated us to many goodies and the house was perfectly ready for us. Modern upgrades throughout, wonderful spa like showers. The best though- The views of the mountains are breathtaking. We also loved visiting the village. The tavern gernios is not to be missed. There is a cafe, bakery, grocery and playground about a 12 minute walk away. Such a peaceful beautiful place- we did not want to leave.

What a great stay this was! everything matched the description. the host is a great nice guest! we arrived hours before the check in time and was wondering if we could check in early and this was not a problem at all! it is a must to rent a car and the host had connections for that! for a reasonable price the car was even taken to the airbnb and we could drop it off again at the airport. (thanks Nikos) stavros also gave us a list of all kinds of places to go, such as beautiful beaches, the beautiful waterfall and nice tents to eat. we also experienced a powerful earthquake, after which the host immediately sent a message to see if everything was okay with us. Absolutely Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing time at this beautiful and pristine place. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and the location is perfect , just a short walk to the city center. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Michalis our host was very responsive and always available whenever we needed anything. We arrived quite late so didn’t manage to meet our hosts but they had organized for us snacks on arrival and beverages but the local raki they had for us ready and chilled stood out. The land lady Efi even made us traditional Loukoumades, which were absolutely delicious! It’s those thoughtful touches that made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended , we would definitely come back!

Katrina’s place was very well designed with a flair of modern touches and elegant finishes. we loved how every area was functional - including the patio. Inside, the bedrooms were well designed and had comfortable beds. Kitchen was stocked with coffee pods and other basics. It also had filter water. overall our stay was very short and we could not enjoy all the amenities, we were hoping we had stayed longer.

Maria is a wonderful host. I enjoyed her place, the area and the culture of Crete. I will definitely be coming back.

I booked the apartment for my father. The landlord was very friendly and waited for us in the apartment in advance, and took my father to introduce the room and the surrounding area for more than half an hour. In the case of language barriers, communication through translation software was very good. My father was very happy and asked me to convey his gratitude. I recommend it to all friends who go there!

We enjoyed our stay at Eleni's apartment. It was easy to find and walkable to most things we wanted to do. The apartment was very clean, and the patio was a pleasant place to relax with nice views. We would love to stay here again if we ever return to Heraklion.

Our family absolutely loved this place and honestly wished we had booked it for more than one night. Each room had its own air conditioner, which made sleeping very comfortable. With two bathrooms, it was perfect for our family of five—no waiting in line! One standout feature was the large, comfy couch where we could all relax together in the living room. The space felt modern, recently updated, and was spotlessly clean. We also appreciated the thoughtful little touches throughout the home. It’s an easy walk to both restaurants and the beach, which was a huge plus. The host was incredibly kind and even left us breakfast items, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We would absolutely stay here again—no hesitation!

Wonderful Stay – Felt Just Like Home! We had an amazing experience staying at this lovely house near the center of Heraklion in Crete. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the town center, even with a stroller, which made exploring the area so convenient. The house itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, and more. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living room was cozy and welcoming, and the bedrooms were comfortable and quiet—perfect for relaxing after a day out. It truly felt like a home away from home. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely love to return in the future, especially since we have family living nearby. Highly recommended—such a great place to stay

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. This is one place that was better than the photos. There are a few rules such as take off your shoes, be mindful of water usage and electricity although none of these bothered us as we have family that live on well water in Texas. The location is very walkable about 15 minutes to city center and helps us with all the food we eat on vacation. Great place if you plan on being in Heraklion and highly recommend a stay
