We had an amazing 1 week stay at this beautiful place. Also the host was so sweet in helping us. She made sure we found the house during night time and got some food for us for breakfast. Also the place was very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. This place is just magical with the beautiful sunrise every morning. Also the inside of the house and spots outside the house give a very cozy feeling. We would also definitly recommend to hire the chef-kok for a night. It was one of the highlights of our stay because of the amazing food and their kindness to us. Would love to come here again!

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

We had a fantastic time. The villa is stunning and had just been freshly renovated. Everything about it is designed to maximize the beautiful views, the airflow, peace and tranquility. The hosts were communicative, kind and generous with flexible check-in and out. The fantastic pool area, stonework, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, sauna/steamroom, washer & dryer, game room -- all were top quality. This was easily the most beautiful AirBnb we have ever stayed in. It was a good home base for exploring Crete. We were also happy to save one day for relaxing at the villa. We were only a family of four, and the villa could have easily held twice as many. Would love to return one day. Made wonderful memories here.

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of incredible. The location was peaceful and serene—away from the busier tourist areas, it truly felt like our own private resort. The views were absolutely stunning, and every moment there felt like a dream. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the heated pool was a highlight—especially during the cooler evenings. It made it easy to enjoy every part of our stay, no matter the weather. George, our host, was fantastic. He was always just a message away, ready with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality. A little piece of paradise We had an unforgettable stay as a couple in this beautiful apartment in Agia Pelagia. Every morning started with breakfast under the bougainvillea, watching the sunrise over the sea – absolutely magical. Just a few steps and we were swimming in crystal-clear water. Pure bliss! The apartment is stylish, spotless, and well-equipped with all essentials like soap, detergent, and toilet paper. The kitchen allowed us to prepare meals comfortably and had all the necessary utensils. A lovely surprise was the thoughtful welcome gift: coffee, wine, fruit, cookies, and water – such a kind gesture. Shops are just minutes away on foot, and everything was super convenient. We truly felt at home and appreciated the care the hosts put into every detail. We’re already dreaming of coming back! Thank you for everything!

Great villa perched up on a hillside, with stunning sea view. You definitely need a hire car as nothing much within walking distance but this was clear when we booked. Three lovely bedrooms, 2 en-suite. The outdoor kitchen is a really good feature. Friendly host who was flexible with check in and out times. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

The house and the view is amazing. This is a very good place to stay and really recommend this place for a short stay in between Chania and Heraklion. You need a car or a motorbike to go around but besides that a very good place

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa - it was the perfect place for our family trip and we felt instantly at home. The villa is in a stunning location, with incredible sea views. It has all of the amenities you could need. Stamatis was an excellent, communicative host and helped us with great local recommendations. We will be back!

What to say … This is from far the best villa we ever rented, with a fantastic see view, a very large clean, well equipped house perfectly described by our host. Pool house is very convenient to cook close to the pool area. Rent a car and visit the cute village nearby at 3 min, you are at 30 min from Heraklion. The area is quiet and easily accessible. Katarina has been exceptional offering us a welcome diner with traditional food cooked by her for us. She recommended our car rental, organised an easy pick up and drop at the airport. We thank you so much Katarina. We warmly recommend your beautiful house to rent. It comes with an exceptional host 🙏👍🤍💙🇬🇷

What a wonderful stay! Antonios was incredibly communicative and greeted us warmly during check-in with fully stocked fridge, raki and a delicious platter of tomatoes, cucumbers and feta. The grounds were immaculate, the amenities were exactly as described on the listing. The location is wonderful - multiple small grocery stores located within walking distance, as well as a handful of delicious tavernas and restaurants along the water and in the nearby town. The location was excellent relative to activities on the island - we visited Knossos Palace, Skotino Cave (MAGICAL), Heraklion's Archaeology Museum, Star Beach (for some scuba diving + waterslides with the kids), and an Easter music event in a nearby town. We even rented a dune-buggy for the afternoon from the rental centre right next door. The villa itself had a great outdoor bbq, air conditioning units + smart TVs in every room, a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, clothes lines, beach chairs, pool toys, you name it, it's got it!

My husband, our 7yo daughter, and I stayed at Michaela's house in Crete for five nights in April, and we enjoyed it very much. The inside is clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely, but the outside living space - the pool area, the outside dining/grilling area, the terraces - make it special. Michaela's mother Eva, who lives next door, is an exceptionally welcoming and kind host. While she was nearby to help make our stay as comfortable as possible, there was no loss of privacy in the proximity. The house is in a quiet residential area, and we rented a car to get to grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, etc., and to explore Crete in general; this was easy and worked out very well. The weather during our stay was still cool enough, especially at night, so we didn't make full use of the AC system, but the house seems well equipped to handle summer heat. All in all, we recommend and hope to stay again sometime!

Just wow! This place was breathtaking and even better than the pictures. Very large and clean space. Just make sure you have a rental car as it is more secluded. Which was just what we were looking for in this part of our trip :) would definitely go back!

Very nice accommodation and many helpful items and tools for grilling as well as for cooking yourself, great dishes and cutlery. In addition, toilet paper, towels, etc. were also included free of charge, as well as free coffee and accessories. The place really had everything you need. The villa or vacation was my personally best vacation.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during our time in Crete and absolutely fell in love with the place. The home is so cozy and has everything you need from the moment you walk in. Maria was super helpful and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Set in a rustic village with amazing views of the skyline, this place is one you should book for sure. Super close to the town of Rethymno, with many shops, restaurants, and beaches a short drive away.

What a fantastic place! Perched at the top of the hill overlooking the beautiful sea, our family thoroughly enjoyed the space, view and atmosphere. The house is beautifully decorated with well thought out space, we were a large family and still felt like we weren’t in each others hair. Highly recommended place to stay on the beautiful island of Crete.

Beautiful property, extremely well equipped, clean. The hosts Ellie and George were extremely helpful and responsive. The photos do not do it justice. Beautiful garden, comfy beds, well maintained. Amazing pool. The town/village of Lygaria is quiet with friendly locals in the shops and restaurants. Lovely beach with crystal clear waters. My dad was very impressed by the towels provided for bathing/swimming! Loved it

The house and views were beautiful. An out of the ordinary sandstorm rolled in and the owner immediately came to clean the outdoor area. She was very responsive and attentive. The house had everything we needed to cook breakfast. There are very few walkable places, but if you have a car, it is no problem. We would return, it was perfect for our group of 6.
