Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lier Municipality

We had a very pleasant stay with two adults and two children. Awesome house, clean and welcoming, all amenities. The location was quiet and peaceful and very lovely with a pool in the heat :) Pia responded quickly and was very service minded. We would gladly came back :)

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

This was a super apartment in a lovely space,beautiful view over the fjord. Maintained everything one would need Located in the 2nd floor. very quiet and peaceful residential area. Took us barely 10 minutes by taxi from the city center. This is an apartment we really recommend. To have a good,nice, and tidy dialogue with the landlord Daniel. He helped and arranged for us when we were without a place to stay,we had booked the wrong date in the hotel. So on short notice he helped us. Just positive to say about the apartment, place and landlord.

Great large apartment with a fantastic view over the fjord. Elin is super nice and speaks perfect German.

We had the best stay in Nikolai’s beautiful cabin! The view from the front of the house is stunning and the living room was the best place to gather each day. We didn’t hire a car, but we found the bus stops to either side of the house really useful for travelling to Svelvik or Drammen. The house is the perfect location for access to the waterand you can walk down to the fjord in just a couple of minutes. The house was comfortable and well equipped and the log fire kept the house warm all night! A couple of things to mention - there is only one bathroom. It could perhaps do with updating, but it didn’t cause any issues for our group of 8. Also some of the beds are listed as double beds, but they are all single beds. This, again, didn’t cause any issues for us as we pushed them together but they did sometimes move apart. Would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area, it is stunning and we really didn’t want to leave. Thanks Nikolai!

The place was great. Me and my friend both highly enjoyed the place and equally the commute to get to it.

Very cozy place, tidy and clean at check in. Should be mentioned that there is a car road outside bedrooms that makes some noise but not prohibitive I think.

Great house in a super location. Quiet area with short distance to swimming area. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

The house of Stevan is great. Just 20 minutes by bus from the Central station of Oslo, in a nice part of Norway. In 10 minutes walk you are at a beach, Where you can swim and relax. The house is great. A nice livingroom where you can watch Netflix, a fine kitchen to cook. Everything you need is available. I would really recommend this place!

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We were a large family group gathering for our first time in Oslo. The island location is gorgeous and the house is both beautiful and well suited to a family group. Catherine was proactive in getting our groceries delivered so we were comfortable despite no stores on the island. We also had free use of their boat which allowed us to arrange our schedule as we liked. Pacing with our large family group meant accounting for two shuttle trips to get all of us across to the mainland. The 31 bus line was close and frequent for getting us into Oslo. We bought a week pass but no one ever seemed to check the bus ticket. The house itself was well equipped with everything kitchen, fireplace and gorgeous outdoor space. It was a little cool and rainy for the pool but the hanging outdoor bed was a favorite spot to hang out.
