Beachfront vacation rentals in Leyte

Definitely the best stay i've ever had so far. Frank and his wife, Dani were so warm they take time out to speak with every guest. All the staff were very warm and attentive as well we felt sooo at home. Frank and Dani were both so helpful they even helped arrange for our transpo to and from the resort and the motorcycle rental we used to go around. The hut is so comfy and the shower is top tier. The entire place itself is so enchanting and lovely. And the food, I'd come back for the scallop pasta. Everything we ordered in the resto were all delicious with generous ingredients and servings yet not too pricey. Thank you so much Frank and Dani for the wonderful experience. It's my first visit to Camotes and your place made it so special and memorable I'd surely go back and also recommend your place to anyone wanting to go to Camotes

The place is just spectacular! Everything was so peaceful, quiet, and breath- taking. We didnt want to leave because the place was just so beautiful and relaxing. Although our trip plans changed because of the typhoon, we didn't mind being stranded in this heavenly place. I would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars! Agie the caretaker was very attentive and made sure to cater to everything that we needed. He was always available and always says yes without any complaint. His aura was relaxing and accommodating as well, which made him very approachable. Great place to stay at. Secluded. Blaine was very helpful and responsive. He gave a lot of suggestions of things to do.

The hosts were awesome and flexible. We sailed in from San Francisco island late, check in was no problem. They even gave us a lift to Ormoc so we could catch our ferry. The food they served was incredible as well. 10/10 experience, would recommend.

Andi was very responsive and when we arrive at the property, he made sure that were settled. The place was clean, it's just walking distance to the beach. We are having a good time staying at Andi's place.

This place is incredible! Great value for what you get, incredible views everywhere, nice pool with view, great water access for doing a little snorkeling and they provide free snorkeling equipment which we took a vantage of! There's a really cool cave/crevice to explore right down at the water. They rent scooters there which was super important for us to go and explore the island, I'd say the only downside for some people would be is once you are at the resort you really need transportation to get anywhere it's not walking distance to much of anything. For us that was no biggie at all. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, overall great experience I would go back there for sure.

The whole place felt private and peaceful; beach access and the pool was definitely A+++. Absolutely enjoyed my morning coffee while looking out to the ocean. Our room is simple, but it was comfortable. Our stay was great but was made even better by Mercy and Oppa who went above and beyond, they made us feel welcome and we enjoyed chatting with them. Will be coming back for sure! Thank you ❤️

Camotes Nook is a delightful private 1 bed studio with a bathroom situated on the grounds of Camotes Villa, which is a grand house overlooking Santiago Bay. It had access to the grounds of Camotes Villa, an infinity swimming pool and direct private access from the clifftop down to the beach. The beach offered safe swimming, no noise or visible pollution and some nice coral to snorkel. Mercy and her husband (the caretakers) were ever so helpful, and couldn't do enough to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We hired a scooter which was brand new from Mercy. The owner is lucky to have such kind and attentive caretakers looking after his property, it really is immaculate along with the grounds. There were a couple of good local places to eat (Backpackers Hostel and Santiago Bay Hotel). A 15 min drive to Consuelo there was a wonderful eatery called 1 Stop Shop which we also thoroughly recommend. We look forward to visiting again in the near future, Best Regards, Toby and Diana

Our holiday stay was amazing! 🤩 It’s an underrated hotel with beautiful and private pristine beach front where you can go cliff diving & is within Santiago Bay area + huge pool! Worth the price. Ate Gina, their staff, was really helpful. She recommended great places to visit and she was actively checking up on us, making sure we were having a great stay. The owners Sir Alex and Sir Marlon were great people too! Hope we can stay a bit longer next time. Thanks for accommodating us!

We love this house. We always feel right at home here. Stuart and the rest of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. All are needs and requests were met within minutes. This is our second time here and it won’t be our last.

The place was serene and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing staycation. We had breakfast overlooking the beach by sunrise, and walked on the beach by sunset. We didn't swim on the beach because of the jellyfish, but we were able to enjoy the pool with the sound of calm waves at the background. Our room was also clean and spacious. Disney+ in our room and cable in the shared living room were available and working. Ms. Kat and her family were very kind and hospitable. They offered us different kinds of food, and even had us taste torta, a delicacy in Samar. Ms. Kat was also very helpful in giving directions, and arranging tours and transportation for us in Tacloban, Leyte, and Basey, Samar. The caretakers were also very pleasant and assisted us in getting a van back to Tacloban on our last day. We truly enjoyed our stay as it felt like a home away from home. We hope to be back with our families in the future!

Elena’s place has very nice pool with great view of the ocean. It’s on the mangrove side I think on the island not sandy beach that I can tell. If I am staying in that area I would stay there again. Elena is pleasant to chat with. She also has scooter available to rent for 400 pesos like all around the island.

Second time staying at Gina’s place. My favorite place to stay near Sogod bay because of the beautiful views. This place is quiet, private, peaceful, with access to the water and no street noise. The place was very clean and the caretakers are very nice, helpful and accommodating.

Gwen's place was really serene. It's peaceful---I can only hear the birds chirping and the waves hitting the cliff. The morning sunrise was also superb on her place. I'd definitely go back for a longer stay next time. Oh Gwen and her staff were also the most accomodating hosts so far. Arranged a tour for me, made sure I was doing fine in my stay. 😊

My 2nd time here. Good place as always! Esp. the house is near the beach.

You have to see it to really appreciate the peace and quiet here. I used to bring a towel to the small dock and lay down here to look at the stars. The only sound you hear is crickets, frogs, birds. So cool! The house is an older traditional hut with all modern amenities needed to make your stay remarkable. Fast internet. A/C. Hot water. The hist left a bottle of rum in the fridge which I was not sure it was free to take so I replaced it. But it really helped on the first night after a 12 hrs flight and 3 hr ferry ride for me. This place was perfect to hide from the world and relax. There is a nearby village. You can get to it by car within 10 minutes. The main city is about 20 minutes away by car. The staff is amazing. Helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend this property !
