Beachfront vacation rentals in Eastern Visayas

Very nice place, very scenic and has a clean, good beach to swim in. And the house was really nice with high ceilings and large rooms. And we loved having the outdoor covered eating area. It was a great place to spend time with friends and family. We look forward to going back in the future.

Spacious and clean home for our family of 6 adults! The outdoor area, pool deck, and dining room were perfect for the many visitors we received and entertained over our weeklong stay. We did a lot of cooking and appreciated the kitchen fully stocked with ample pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishware and cutlery. The strong A/C and swimming pool were refreshing amenities to come home to each day. While the water pressure isn’t as strong as our U.S. standards, having 3 full bathrooms was great. The live in family of caretakers use the bedroom next to the kitchen and stayed out of our way for the most part, but be aware they do walk around the outside premises throughout the day. They conveniently provided tricycle service when we needed it and replenished the drinking water often. The only negative (which is out of the owner’s control) is the music from the karaoke bars nearby which you can hear until after 1am every night! Otherwise a truly enjoyable stay and we will stay again!

Excellent host, great service, perfect place for family gathering with well maintained landscape, open area concept, air conditioned rooms, modern kitchen, clean and spacious bathrooms, close to town center and can accommodate lots of guests. Will definitely be coming back.

This was our first stay here and we are happy to say that everything was exactly as it was described. The grounds are beautiful, and the view is breathtaking. You can easily walk down to the beach, play some bad mitton/vollyball or grill outside. The staff onsite was super responsive and very helpful. (had charcoal for the grill handy and san miguel for us when we ran out :) It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or small family gathering. The View the view the view :) so awesome!

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The only small issues were the occasional power outages and the lack of blinds on the big windows, which made it a bit hard to sleep in or nap during the day.

We really enjoyed the place. When I was reading the reviews, I was a little bit worried about the mosquitoes. But nothing to worry about, not a lot of mosquitos. I think because the care takers were amazing - they were very clean, they took care of the place really well, they were also very friendly and helpful. I really like that the place is well maintain. took care of us really well, by husband wants to stay longer. It is such a beautiful place, we will not forget the care takers.

Happy with our stay here:) Hosts were very responsive, friendly and offered to show us around. The unit was clean, cozy and looked like the pictures. The area has everything you need within walking distance.

Nice place to stay. With complete things like you're just at home. There are nearby convenience store, ATM, supermarket, restaurants, food street..etc. Lapulapu shrine is also a walk away like a nice way to have a walk exercise. Also favorable for jogging around the open area near mactan newtown beach entrance. Just like the other reviews, the only issue here is the smell of the bathroom that suddenly comes out. What we did is just cover the drains and close the toilet bowl cover. Overall it still was a great stay. Thanks Myrlin for being responsive to all my questions.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was great if you want to just relax but also a great distance from the city if you want to explore more. She’s very good at communicating and responds quickly to our questions. Thank you and we will definitely come back!

The place was lovely, the view was relaxing seeing the pool area and glass house from the living room. Although we encountered a little hiccup regarding the malfunctioning microwave, which our host let me know on the day of the check in. I would have appreciated it if I was told beforehand because we brought microwave popcorn. Although, the caretaker Ms. Neria was clear with her instructions and tour of the Airbnb. She even offered to let us borrow her rice cooker as the previous guests misused the old rice cooker and left it discolored. The glass house was cozy, and offered a really nice view of the sea and sunrise. My family members however complained regarding the water pressure in their bathrooms. Hope this can be fixed as well. Other than that, we loved the karaoke and the pool! We are also able to use the grill for barbecue and the ref and freezer were functional, which was fortunate since my family brought a lot of food. We had a wonderful extended stay here. The **view is spectacular**, the **location is excellent**—just a 10–15 min walk to the beach (paid access, but options to get in for free or 350 pesos). **No bugs**, **fridge is nearly full-size**, **washing machine works well** (even has hot water), and the **front desk answers promptly**. **GrabFood delivers to the lobby**—we had amazing sourdough and pizza! The host was **very responsive** when issues came up (stove, aircon smell, shower). We made a few comfort tweaks like moving the bed and bringing an air fryer we loved. Small things like the **kettle being too hot to handle** and lack of gym access were a letdown, but we found a great gym 2 minutes away. Overall, a great base with a little creativity and a lot of potential. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at tambuli resort and saved money booking with gigi

Whenever I go to Cebu to travel or work, I use Airbnb to stay at the Tambul resort residence. This Airbnb accommodation was one of the most expensive, but the view and interior facilities were the most perfect, so it was worth it.

Mark (host) and RJ (house manager) and the entire team staff made us feel welcome at home. The house is perfect for a nice and relaxing stay with delicious food all professionally prepared in the thatched roof kitchen and dining area with great views of the ocean. The pool is a great focal point with lots of seating surrounding it. The kids enjoyed beach combing during low tide. The nearby hot springs and hike to a waterfall is a nice 1/2 day excursion as well.

Second time staying at Gina’s place. My favorite place to stay near Sogod bay because of the beautiful views. This place is quiet, private, peaceful, with access to the water and no street noise. The place was very clean and the caretakers are very nice, helpful and accommodating.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in La Mactan, Cebu. The place was clean, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and had a stunning view. The pool was a highlight, and the location is perfect—within walking distance to shops and restaurants. They also offered custom tour packages at much better rates than other providers, which made our island hopping experience even more enjoyable. We also rented a scooter through them, which was both affordable and reliable. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from start to finish. While the bed was a bit firm and slightly short for tall Europeans, it didn’t impact our overall experience. It truly felt like a vacation, and we’d happily stay here again!

Beautiful place! Would be interested to come again. The place is peaceful and pretty. They also are in an area where the phone data is really fast (because it differs a lot in different parts of the island) so even if the wifi is limited we can still use data.

Gwen's place was really serene. It's peaceful---I can only hear the birds chirping and the waves hitting the cliff. The morning sunrise was also superb on her place. I'd definitely go back for a longer stay next time. Oh Gwen and her staff were also the most accomodating hosts so far. Arranged a tour for me, made sure I was doing fine in my stay. 😊
