Due to the pandemic, please note that the apartment is cleaned by us between each reservation, according to the new protocol dictated by Airbnb and mandatory. The linen is washed at 60°C minimum! Hydro-alcoholic liquid available in the apartment! The roof, the insulation of the apartment, the air conditioning of the rooms, have just been completely redone. Delightful T1 bis in hyper center. Great location, restaurants, theater, cinemas, shops, museums, everything is at the foot of the apartment. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a beautiful 19th century building. The granite staircase is wide. Rue Jean Jacques is a very lively pedestrian street, but the advantage of our apartment is that it overlooks a very quiet private courtyard secured by 2 closed doors. Bike racks are provided (up to 2) so they will be safe.

If you want to feel a local in the city centre, this is the right place. I kind of feel at home since I arrived. The building entrance corridor requires some upgrade to make it look nicer. The apartment is in the 3rd floor, and this may be an issue if you have large bagagges. The apartment has their own furniture, which is nice, but sometimes you may find a hidden speck of dust. Some nice features, such as a collection of vynil records make it unique. At night, you may hear the crowd from the restaurants on the street, but it was ok for me, I did enjoy my sleep. The highlight of the apartment is the location, the bright and spacious living room, which made me qualify this place with a 5 star.

We were pleasantly surprised by the apartment's equipment (many towels + gloves, cotton buds, pharmacy, several pillows, etc.), as well as by the small touches (brioches, spread, orange juice, milk, cold water, etc.). Having rented a lot of apartments, I've rarely seen this, especially in this budget. Plus, the apartment is really very clean, worthy of a good hotel. We used Pavillon Famille Fonteneau's home as a base for visiting Puy Du Fou, so we spent very little time in the home and only had a couple of hours in Cholet centre, which was very pleasant. The home was a great base, the beds were super comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful in the neighbourhood. The home had everything we needed for our stay and was a much nicer and more cost effective experience than staying in a hotel. If we come back to the area, I would love to stay there again.
