There is a car road all the way to the cabin all year round, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for hiking in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter there is a cross country trail right behind the cabin and you can go on an alpine ski right outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

In the summer we have great hiking opportunities both on foot and by bicycle that can be rented. With a half hour drive you reach several attractions like Hunderfossen in the south and Fron water park in the north. Bjønnlitjønnvegen 45 offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. After a day of activities, you can relax in the spacious kitchen or in the living room, both with spectacular views.

Architect designed cabin in Sjodalen Fjellgrend at the entrance to Jotunheimen national park. The area is an excellent starting point for day trips to Besseggen, Glittertind, Besshø or Rasletind, among others. Nice and peaceful accommodation centrally located at the foot of Jotunheimen. Modern cabin with good standard. The cottage is nicely located with good parking opportunities. There is a short walk to Lemon Lake Fjellstue where good lunches and dinner dishes are served, there are also bike rentals and many great trails close by. The calf Sæter urban coffee shop is also worth a visit. Only a short drive from the cabin are famous hiking destinations such as Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen and Glittertind, all have been a visit.

We live in a small shop with pets and a kitchen garden. At the edge of the courtyard in the courtyard is a single-family home from 1979. The house is family friendly with a great view. Welcome to a private and pet-friendly mountain cabin, 980 MASL, just one kilometer from the national park boundary. Here, you are surrounded by powerful landscapes. From the cabin, there are trails and ski tracks leading into the mountains. In winter you must ski or arrange for a snowmobile for the last three kilometers up to the cabin.

The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg

The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg is beautifully located with a panorama view of Jotunheimen, in the middle of the vibrant and authentic cultural landscape of the mountain village Vågå. You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm. The first floor is preserved as it was when the house was built, while the second floor is renovated securing our guests a comfortable stay. Welcome to farm!

Renovated kufjøs from the 1800s. Fjøset is part of a small tuna and is nicely located with a short distance to many national parks.
