Villa vacation rentals in Lecce

We had a pleasant stay at Mario's. Her accommodation is very clean, pleasant, bright and quiet in a very nice wooded environment. Mario is very easily reachable and very responsive. Important point in winter or like us during a cool and rainy spring, the accommodation is very well heated, which is very nice especially in the evening. You can also park your vehicle under an awning. For the location, the city center (the Basilica of Santa Croce for example) is a 25-minute walk and a few hundred meters there is a bakery, a pharmacy, a coop and some bars, restaurants. We highly recommend this place which must be particularly pleasant in summer (unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the terrace table due to the capricious weather).

Occasionally on Airbnb you arrive somewhere and it’s like hitting the jackpot. Each and every space is beautiful, well appointed and through a design lens- stunning. Laid back luxury at its best. We are a (grown up) family of 9 and appreciated the numerous spaces to step back for moments of solitude - both inside and out. All the bedrooms are gorgeous- so no one left feeling like they’ve pulled the short straw, and the kitchen is perfect for creating big dinners. A cool (thanks to the air con) sitting room-perfect for reading, and bathrooms all well designed and good looking. The pool is beautiful- big enough to get a proper swim in which in my experience is rare, but the huge table under the canopied terrace off the kitchen was the place to be! The village bar is a 2 minute walk away and more restaurants a 15 minute walk. Can’t recommend enough, and can’t wait to return. Thank you Rocco and the wonderful house keepers for making our stay perfectly fabulous.

Staying with your feet in the water. If you like to sleep with the sound of waves, go for a swim in the morning a stone's throw away and come back for breakfast on a great terrace with sea views… this is the right place. Close to Gallipoli (by car) and not far from Lecce either. Mid-May is a bit dead, of course, but it suited us just fine and we had no problem finding restaurants and grocery stores. Francesco's house is not only charming, but very practical. All is well thought out. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Francesco, but he responded very quickly to our many messages 😉

We had an amazing stay at Francesca’s. We were in contact with Lukas who was extremely helpful, clear and friendly. At check in, Lukas met us and showed us around, he had many local recommendations for us. Throughout the stay he was super responsive and helpful. The first morning we woke up to fresh croissant and pasticciotti!! The house was beautiful, very spacious, full of light and extremely clean. There are many places to sit and many amenities like the pool, outside showers, hammocks and outside BBQ area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you.

Maria Cristina’s place impressed us with its historical beauty, unforgettable Adriatic views, great location, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedding. The house is well organized: free laundry and parking, heating and AC system in every room, great air circulation and light management, separate dining area, and living room. The front house veranda is very spacious, its overlooking the sea. The area is peaceful and safe with multiple close by restaurants and coffee shops; 10 min walk to the Castro local A&O grocery store; 10 min drive to MAD gym; and a lot of beautiful walks of your choice. Communication has been exceptional from welcoming throughout our entire stay. Emanuela is assisting Maria Cristina with English speaking guests, taking care of any unexpected issues or special requests. We’ve been blessed with hospitality, attention, patience, and flexibility of our hosts. It was a privilege to live in the house with such history and importance to the local community.

An absolutely wonderful villa with a great view to the east and sunrise. Lots of space to sit and lounge and eat and spend time together with family and friends. A bit of a drive to the beach, but all very doable. Definitely in the return to list. Last but not least - Fausto is fab!

We had a wonderful time. Lots of space in the villa for two families and the teenagers loved having their own bathrooms! Very helpful in every way, we had a lovely dinner in the recommended restaurant in the village. We would definitely return!

Angelo is one of the best hosts we've encountered. He responded promptly to all our questions before we arrived, picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. He had wine waiting for us at the house when we arrived. We miscalculated the availability of bus service in May, thinking we could bus from Casalabete to Brindisi to rent a car. Angelo anticipated our need and arranged a car rental for us. On the way out he even took a detour to show us some features of the area we asked about. The house is in a nice location, right over the dunes from the beach. The yard and pool are exceptionally nice, with plenty of outdoor seating areas in a private setting. The house is comfortable, but a bit dated inside, with a small kitchen (although it has lots of refrigerator and freezer space) and could use some better lighting. This is a really nice place for a beach vacation.

The house has everything you need for a carefree vacation: equipped kitchen, ok rooms and an outdoor space ideal for eating outdoors or enjoying the sunset. A special thanks to Lorenzo and Lucia, who helped me with everything: always kind, they helped me with the address, present when needed and ready to recommend authentic places to discover. It's the right place to unwind, breathe in the sea and experience the real Salento.

At the beginning of May we had a wonderful week at Sandra's Vila. Very nice people and a very well maintained and clean facility. Even nicer than in the photos. Air temperature 22 to 24 degrees, water 16 degrees, few people everywhere, delicious food...we enjoyed it to the fullest and will never again take bathing holidays in high season. Also for my children, 5 and 7 years old, the vacation with Sandra was a hit. They enjoyed jumping into the pool right after getting up. I highly recommend their place.

Dorothy and Gabriele's welcome was friendly. Dorothy was always available to answer our questions quickly. The place really has something special with its vaulted Lecce stone rooms that we really enjoyed. The place was clean and in good condition. Only downsides: - the 3 bedrooms are quite far from each other (1 at the entrance but outside, 1 at the back of the accommodation and 1 upstairs). Keep in mind with small children who are a little afraid of being away at night; - the accommodation is just on the edge of the street and is therefore a little noisy for those occupying the bedroom of the entrance. But otherwise everything was perfect. Thank you very much

There were two of us with our dog in Fabrizio's house. It was ideal, large completely fenced property. Very nice well-kept swimming pool. Ample sun loungers and large umbrella. Barbecue facilities. Close to the sea and also to many other interesting places. Fabrizio is a very charming and accommodating host

Roberto and his wife were wonderful hosts. Despite our language barrier we communicated very well using our phones. The house is very spacious and well stocked. The area is nice and quiet but only a couple of kilometers from the coat.

Great place to stay with all the comforts. We were 8 adults and two children and had separate bedrooms with ac. Shared well-equipped kitchen several patios and an appreciated hot tub. Close to the nice beach with both sweet and salt water. Great pizzeria in walking distance. Simone has been an amazing host and he has been incredibly helpful. We highly recommend the location.

A wonderful family holiday in a beautiful place. Mario and his family are excellent hosts who cannot do enough for you. Their hospitality was very appreciated, especially during a family emergency that occurred during our stay. They arranged cleaners and a chef for us, making a 5 star holiday more like 6 stars! The villa itself is beautiful with so much space and the swimming pool is a wonderful thing to have, few and far between in this part of Italy. Location is excellent, with the sea a short drive away and lots of lovely places like Gallipoli to visit. As a host myself I know how much work goes in to keeping a property in great condition and ensuring guests have a lovely stay - Mario has achieved that here and i hope to come back really soon!

We were looking for a small town in Italy. We found just that. Mostly locals. Giurdignano is about 10 to 15 minutes by car to Otranto. The village itself is very quaint, with one sports bar, 2 or 3 restaurant/pizzerias/a small grocery store, a little market, and a bakery. Everyone was very nice. The house is very well stocked. We enjoyed our stay very much, even though the weather didn't cooperate very much. To visit other cities, you need a car, or a driver. Communication was great between the owner, myself, and the management staff. I would return.

Andrea is a fabulous host and could not do more to help us settle in and be looked after. He was always available and very accommodating. The property is a gem if you like peaceful, quiet places with a wonderful view. Two couples shared a bathroom without any problem, but generally it has a nice layout, with lots of space. We had one rainy day but we were still just happy to admire the view and relax, and it was a great surprise one evening to be able to see the mountains on the other side of the Gulf of Taranto. The beach at Lido Malibu is Caribbean and almost empty when we were there late May, but probably busy later judging by the number of available deck chairs. Gallipoli (30 mins) is a great trip to do as is Lecce a bit further, but generally we were happy to stay at the Villa by the superb pristine pool or go down to the beach. As we were self catering the house is well equipped, with lots of linen and towels, comfortable and nicely decorated. Definitely recommended.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Luigi made our whole trip so special and the villa is beautiful, will be returning for sure!

Susanna and Jacopo are amazing hosts and made my group feel right at home. The property is bed and breakfast style and my group rented out the entire place. We loved the morning breakfasts and getting to lounge by the pool. It’s a perfect location for visiting Puglia- close to Lecce as well as the beaches. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Puglia!

The villa in Squinzano is amazing. It has exceptionally exclusive but cozy amenities and great design. You immediately feel comfortable and don't want to leave this wonderful place. The garden with the extravagant pool is really fantastic. Depending on where you look or where you sit, it is never boring for the eye and always looking particularly beautiful from every point. We felt really comfortable. The place was super clean. Paolo answers all questions at a rapid pace and all his recommendations were very good for us. We wanted to get to know the area and are very enthusiastic about the impulsive Lecce. The city is minutes by car, which was no problem for us. Unfortunately, our stay was too short and would travel back to this paradise in a heartbeat.

The stay was very nice, we had a great time. The perfect place to unwind in silence, the cottage provides privacy. Everything clean, lots of amenities. Very nice terrace and great pool. Close to the beach (about 15 min on foot). Highly recommended.

We had a SPECTACULAR few days at this Sognoblu Villa. The view, unbeatable, the fine and very well decorated rooms. Everything is high-end and tasteful, with attention to detail. Very complete tableware, excellent quality linens and towels as well. The four en-suite rooms are very well decorated and equipped. Wide and cozy house. They were definitely heavenly days. Sebastien and Agustine have been very helpful, recommending places and activities. We felt very welcome and accompanied. Having the cleaning lady was also a highlight, as everything was impeccable. Thank you very much for this luxury vacation that will be unforgettable
