Beautiful, comfortable and private cottage. Nature and the river offer beautiful views and the interior layout of the cottage offers spaces conducive to relaxation and contemplation. In short, a real little paradise to get away from everyday life! Not to mention that Valerie and Dustin are caring and warm hosts.

We had a great time at the accommodation, we would 100% recommend it and we will definitely be back!!

This is an ideal place for a quiet getaway. Everything is exactly as advertised and the property is beautiful and private - tall cedar hedges on both sides guarantee privacy. There are no stores or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but there are major grocery stores and pharmacies a short drive away - everything you could possibly need. The home itself is immaculate and well equipped, and the host is friendly, proactive (we were late arriving and he called us, concerned that we might be lost), and easy to reach. This was possibly my very best Airbnb experience. Great value for a quiet private escape from the city. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

This was my second time staying at Mathieu’s because I loved it so much the first time. The place was very clean with a well stocked kitchen (many appliances, dishes etc…). The view of the lake is incredible!! I will definitely be going back

A very beautiful Chalet. Lots of room to spread out, gorgeous patio, small kitchen with all the necessities. Great parking right next to your front door. This place was bigger, better, and more beautiful than we had anticipated based on the pictures. Two floors of spaces, 2 living rooms, a giant master suite and a huge patio…: this place is wonderland in the middle of nowhere. Which is what makes it peaceful!

Excellent stay! Like every time I go. It was nice to see these beautiful places again in summer. Everything is always very good and clean. Then I thank them again for being flexible with the check-in time. Sometimes a little awkward, such as with the welcome from the owners before even entering the premises or meeting them regularly. But they're there if there's anything at least.

It's a real little paradise! The place is very beautiful and very well maintained, I would even say impeccable! We had a warm welcome from the host Richard, smiling and available! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a stay in nature and very quiet… the city is not very far away with everything you need!

Diane went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. The location was right on the water although due to weather we were restricted from accessing it. The island was quiet but that was what we expected and wanted. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was great with good water pressure. We'd love to come back and will stay with Diane again!

Excellent stay, the accommodation has everything you need. The setting by the lake is magical, the HOT TUB is very nice. We took advantage of the weekend to fish and we caught 8 big pike, it will remain an exceptional memory for our family!

Francois' place is absolutely fantastic! Right by the lake, you can find a very calm and private escape. The chalet was spotless, and Francois was incredibly responsive and gracious throughout our stay. Our visit was brief, but we truly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this place!

Our crew has stayed here twice while doing work in the area and had great experiences both times! The place id great and the hosts are super responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

An extra host, unheard of, thank you Stéphane! I would just say that the place is not the most suitable for young children in relation to access to the lake, but you are able to offer all kinds of surprises to interest the youngest, special mention to your son Eliot for the hiking/trout outing, the kids will keep a great souvenir.

We had a great time in Avignon! The location was perfect for access to mountain bike trails and Monts Valins Park. The cottage also lived up to our expectations and we will go back without hesitation.
