Vacation rentals in Le Château du Rouret

I stayed in this charming house for a week and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The home is bright, impeccably clean, and perfectly well equipped, there was even a beach bag with beach towels in case we wanted to go for a swim in the sea. The house is located within the village walls, in a very quiet and peaceful area, and offers a beautiful view. Maude was absolutely lovely, kind, thoughtful, and always available to help with anything. She made sure everything was perfect and that nothing was missing. I highly recommend this place 100%!

The views from this place are amazing and the sense of tranquility and private are wonderful. The host was very easy to communicate with and amicable. The bed is made of foam, but it is alright and there are shutters that create a blackout for sleeping. Please note that you park on the street and walk up the driveway which is quite steep and at some parts wet. The host told me this will be fixed by next year, but it’s something to be aware of if you aren’t able to handle steep hikes with groceries etc.

We had a great time at Bergerie St Andrieux. Each week for 4 weeks one of our children came to stay (along with their families). Each of them said how much they enjoyed their stay. The house was perfect for 2 families as the sleeping areas are completely separate (even 2 sets of stairs) so we weren't disturbed by children! The outside eating area was ideal - we ate all our meals there, including barbecue's and a couple of great wood-fired pizza evenings. The pool was excellent - it was separate from the house and secure so we didn't need to worry about the children and was large enough and deep enough to have a proper swim. The views from the house are stunning. It is difficult to take walks directly from the house but mostly a short drive will take you to the start of a good walk. And, Fatima was very friendly and helpful in dealing with the minor issues we encountered.

Wonderful property, beautiful location, incredible view. This property was everything I had hoped for. Terrific spot right on the water, walkable beach clubs, shops, restaurants. The host was very responsive and everything in the apartment was perfect. Hoping to rent this again next year!

This cozy house is an ideal base for an authentic, less touristed French Riviera trip! The pictures don't fully capture the breathtaking rooftop view or the home's beautiful character. It made us feel like true locals in a small provencal village. The house is beautifully renovated and stocked with the modern comforts like a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. My wife particularly enjoyed the luxurious bathtub and large shower. The rooftop terrace is an absolute gem. There's something magical about indulging in a coffee, home cooked meal, or wine on the roof while taking in the beautiful gorge and soaring paragliders. Be aware that all bedrooms are upstairs so it could be difficult if you're of poor mobility, but we had no problems. A car is required as the town is small, but we really enjoyed exploring a lot within a short drive: villages, markets, and beaches. Plus there were hikes within walking distance from the house. Check out the one to Gourdon! We would absolutely stay again.

The charming and comfy cabin is located wonderfully away from the streets in the hills, causing it to be super quiet and you to feel directly connected to the nature. The view is absolutely fantastic. You feel directly relaxed, especially while sun bathing on the patio in the deck chairs. The entire cabin styling is very sophisticated and beautifully decorated. The cabin itself was very clean. Sufficient towls (5 per person in different sizes) were provided, in addition to mosquito nets over the beds. The contact with the hosts was great and always helpful with a lot of tips for ventures and eating out in the region. If we are ever coming back to the Cote d'Azur, this is going to be our number one place to stay.

Christine and Silvio's place was a peaceful oasis amidst the olive trees. We lacked for nothing! They were friendly and told us a lot about the area but they were not intrusive at all. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. All in all it was a wonderful stay and next time we will stay longer

This special place in the middle of the Alpes Maritime is beautifully located, has a very nice view from the lovely swimming pool. In addition, you have privacy outside with day beds to keep outside a siesta, a sitting area and sunbeds by the pool and a dining table with BBQ. The reception was very warm and the hosts are incredibly helpful, if you want to give various tips for activities or special places in the area. Truly a paradise in the mountains on the Cote d’Azure. From this place there is everything to do (also with two adolescents) such as to Nice, Antibes, Monaco, karting, to a confiserie nearby and visiting countless beautiful villages and making beautiful mountain rides.
