Excellent family stay in the Bugue cottage; the place is perfect for getting together. Excellent communication with Marc, whose many sightseeing tips were much appreciated. Recommended!

I can’t recommend Jean’s place enough. It was truly lovely. What a peaceful and beautiful environment. I really enjoyed my stay there. Jean was such a great host. I was really appreciative of the nice bottle of wine and bottle of Perrier she gave me as a welcome gift. I definitely hope that I will be able to return one day!

Beautiful little terrace house in Belves within walking distance of the centre of the village. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants within. Five minute walk. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The steps to the outside terrace are very steep and could be slippery if damp but the area is lovely to relax in. Lots to see and places to visit in this beautiful part of France.

The word that comes to mind is simply PERFECT We have been traveling a lot on Airbnb for 20 years, Florence and Fred's accommodation is the one that allowed us to really recharge in a few days. A real peaceful outdoor area set up for relaxation, an impeccable house where nothing is lacking, lovely hosts and good advice for visiting the surroundings. The location of the accommodation is perfect for visiting the main sites. The only regret we have is having to leave Thank you so much, Florence and Fred We'll be back as soon as we can

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

A feel good experience! As a previous reviewer said, the property was hard to leave, from the great view down the valley from the elevated deck, to the super comfy, large bed. Without hesitation, would recommend it and the hosts’ hospitality. Diana & Derek

Perfect central ground floor apartment. Comfy and clean. Thank you to Laure for helping us with the tv as we didn’t know how to work it. Bergerac is a lovely place to visit. Would love to come back again. Next time I need to brush up on my French as most of the locals don’t speak English. Or let’s say, they would rather you speak French. And why not.

The location was excellent - very quiet and secure, bolangerie and casino supermarket across the road, parking downstairs, and literally 100m from the centre. The bed was comfortable, shower hot, spacious and excellent living area/kitchen. The only downside was two flights of stairs - not easy for some, but fine for us. Would definitely stay again.

a little piece of paradise, we only stayed a few days but we leave with a feeling of a very relaxing vacation. Quiet and beautiful environment, charming and available hosts, I recommend it 400%, everything was wonderfully perfect.

We loved our apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, and right next to the beautiful Perigueux Cathedral. Parking on the street was very easy. The apartment met every need. The bed was great, and the area was quiet. The best was the responsiveness of the management team….they were quick, kind and professional. We had a minor issue with the Wi-Fi, and it was managed immediately. We managed those 13th century stairs, and we are in our early 70’s! Highly recommend, and would book again with this management team. I feel like we stayed in a very unique property. Thank you for a great stay.

Small gem in the heart of Sarlat. The apartment is extremely well located, right next to the village square and all shops and restaurants. The directions provided by Patricia to find the apartment and park were very precise and practical. The interior is very beautiful and tastefully decorated. There were also all the amenities available and the bedding was great. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it!

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!
