Thérèse is super friendly. Due to the heavy transport jam, we arrive late at night. We contacted with Thérèse to explain the delay. She totally understood and waited for us. We super appreciated it. After we arrived, she and her husband welcomed us so kindly. The chambers are really comfortable, beautiful, and clean. On the next morning, they even provided a very delicious breakfast for us. We also played with their cat for a while, who is really cute. In conclusion, it’s a super wonderful experience and we all feel like coming back to home. Thank Thérèse!

We appreciated the listening and good advice from our hosts regarding the visit of Fougeres and its region. Isabelle & Laurent were available. We were hosted by the dog very well. The icing on the cake…a little dip in the heated pool at the end of the day.

It was wonderful to be able to stay here after a long trip. The room is neat and it is nice that there are also toys for children. The communication with Rachel was very pleasant: she is friendly and flexible, and she responds quickly and adequately. It was nice that she also spoke English.

We spent 2 nights at Gijs's chateau and we loved it! Checkin/checkout: Seamless with Gjis greeted us when we arrived & when we leave, there is ample parking space near the chateau. Meals: On our first night, we had dinner together with Gjis and his friends. A hearty meal was prepared by Angelo along with drinks and dessert that made us feel right at home. Every morning we were greeted with freshly prepared breakfast. Host interaction: What an experience! We had a lot of exchanges with Gjis & friends on local recommendations about food and cultures. The stay: The chateau was beautifully decorated with arts and history. Intricate details on the architecture adds on to our pleasant experience. We particularly loved our room. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, the bed was extra comfy and an extra heater was provided in case we are cold at night. Location: Extra peaceful & quiet, surrounding is huge to explore, tranquil moat adds to the beauty! Thank you, Gjis for hosting us!
