Very nice place, looked just like the pictures. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Walter is a great host. He is always responsive and is on top of any issues that may come up. The house is across from the ocean by one street. The access to the beach is just a short stroll. The beach facing the house is wide. At the low tide, you have 400 feet of expansive beach leading to the calm ocean. The fishermen’s pier is only half of a mile walk on the beach; there you will get fresh catch of the day. There are also several small restaurants at the pier where you will get a beer for a dollar, a ceviche for two dollars and a set meal with meat/fish, rice, soup and a small salad for 3.75/4.00 dollars. At the beach, if it is clear, you can watch both sunrise and sunset (the latter is over beach and a small hill). I had a wonderful time at playa Uverito.

Bonnie’s place was absolutely fantastic for our stay! The beach was perfect for our 5 year old, not too deep and calm enough for him to play. Bonnie gave great advice for the area and was even able to get our son a coconut from her tree to drink from. The kitchen was well stocked and the patio had fantastic views of the ocean. We’d absolutely love to stay again!

Mirza and her family were lovely to us. Good advice and details that make a difference. La casita del abuelo is in a peaceful environment and is a 5-minute walk from the taxi stop if you are not vehicled. Everything was perfect!
