The location was great and close to playa Guasacate. The house was very spacious and the pool and outside areas are great for lounging. Karina was an incredible host with wonderful local recommendations and very responsive. We would book with Karina again anytime!

Beautiful new house about a 1 minute walk to the main break at Colorado's. Very happy with the stay. Would absolutely stay here again. Air conditioning worked great. The space was clean and comfortable. Great place!

I booked this place for 2 nights for my wife and family (8 guests) We had a great time , it rained the first day but there is space on the property to relax and stay dry. Helpful and friendly staff and a really nice Place to stay with guests. Would recommend.

Such a beautiful place, love the house layout and the views are awesome… Very comfortable place with everything you might need for your stay. Rudy and Alex (Rudy’s place caretaker) are very kind and friendly people, always eager to make your stay the best they can.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

I loved that place. Stayed there for 2 weeks and was supposed to stay only for 1. Definetly a nice place to stay if you want privacy ! Daniel is awesome as well ! Loved him !

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! We loved CasAnica, it was in a great location, close to both beaches and a regular shuttle also was available to get us into San Juan Del Sur when we needed. Tony was also a great and accommodating host. We hope to come back to Nicaragua and stay again!

Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed at in San Juan Del Sur! The host was great, always attentive to us, giving us directions and making our stay more peaceful. If we had any questions or concerns, Jimmi answered almost immediately! The apartment is super elegant, comfortable. A spectacle to see the sunset from the bathtub that is at the highest point, the view of the bay from there was amazing. We will definitely visit this place again very soon.

Corrin and Jacq were exceptional hosts. Always present and super diligent. The house, in turn, is perfect: excellent location, equipped with everything you need (and more) and extremely comfortable and pleasant. It was an incredible experience, which I recommend to everyone (especially to those who surf, given the two “world class” waves located within the condominium).

Nice location away from the noise of san juan. We had a car, so the distance did not bother us. Do keep mind there is a limit for the amount of watts you use. It was a good amount daily and we actually didn't even hit the max, so not a big deal.

Excellent accommodation, ideal for traveling with the family. The attention of the staff in charge is very good and they are always attentive to help. We recommend it!

Uri was a huge help, great manager. Always got us what we needed then and there. Juan Pablo was great as well, always answered any questions immediately and made our stay super easy. Nice kitchen and everything you need for a long term stay. Walking distance to the beach, both grocery stores and Dog Town. Already planning our next trip back!

The place is very pretty and the host very responsive. She provided an accommodation for the heat. The only downfall was that the water pressure in the showers was at a minimum which made it inconvenient for the amount of time we stayed.

The place was in a great location, steps from the beach. Popoyo beach is a long flat stretch of sand with few people so great for long walks. The place had everything needed for longer stays. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed very comfortable. Paula was extremely responsive and kind. She definitely understands how to treat guests. She gave very clear directions to the house and for check in.

A magical place for a relaxing stay away from the bustle in town. Nearby Playa Majagual is incredible, great for swimming as the little bay is quite protected, and El Ranchito, the restaurant run by Luis and his family, is awesome. Owner is very responsive. One of my favourite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

Great and well located apartment. Beautiful views and conveniently located near a lot of beaches in Popoyo. Just a few minutes away from great beaches and restaurants. Host was friendly, responsive and really helpful. The security staff at the place are also very friendly and give you great suggestions for places to eat.

superb value for money. We paid about $26 per night in the rainy season. plenty of space, modern furnishings, good amenities in the kitchen. Close to the beach. Because of other reviews: Insects are quite normal in Nicaragua. If none were there, it would make me suspicious because then probably an environmentally harmful insecticide was used. Power outages are also normal. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the internet as a result, but Rosie and chilano were very helpful. Chilano also takes you to the nearest supermarket by motorbike. Drinking water is also provided free of charge on the property.

The accommodation is located a few minutes from the sea and close to many restaurants and hostels. There is no Wi-Fi in the room, but there is this one in the surrounding restaurants. The hostess always responded very quickly to messages. I can highly recommend the accommodation.

Jesus who was in charge of receiving us was very attentive and helpful, the place was perfect in every way, location, price, very clean and tidy. It is a place I would recommend since it is a balance between tranquility but in turn it is not far from all the attractions in the area.
