Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Charming, year around cottage. Nothing beats being in the middle of our pristine lake or sitting on the deck watching nature in all her glory! And when you're ready for something a little bigger, Lake Michigan is a short drive; along with world famous Legs Inn (closes mid Oct) as are the "big" cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City! Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

The Apple House was a wonderful cozy stay in a beautiful secluded wooded setting. My 13 year old daughter, mobility challenged mother, and I came for a special girls weekend and we are so happy we chose Kathleen's house. It was so cozy and perfectly equipped and accommodating. Kathleen had everything we could need to make the stay comfortable. The beds were all so cozy, it was nice and quiet and we slept in each morning and then made coffee and breakfast before going on our adventures for the day. It is close to Petoskey and Mackinac City for day trips. In the evenings we came back and popped popcorn, watched movies, and played games. Wonderful memories were made, thank you Kathleen!

The cabin was cozy and had great views. Parking is a bit limited if you have more than one vehicle but we made it work. Robert was great at responding to all my questions. There was also plenty of staples like salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towel etc. I would definitely rent this place again.

A beautiful and well-appointed home in the Lake Michigan shore. We had a wonderful time relaxing while the sun set. Great amenities, well furnished and sparkling clean. Drove an hour to the UP and ferried to Mackinac Island. Highly recommend!
