Vacation rentals with lake access in Languedoc-Roussillon

Picturesque estate, full of history, quiet with a beautiful garden. Clean accommodation with all necessary equipment. Béatrice and her husband hosted us very well, very pleasant stay in this exceptional place!

Our family did a 5 day stay at erics house and we loved it. We explored the area.. the lake is beautiful and Revel the next town, has everything you need : a great tea place, great boulangeries and patisseries ( oh these amazing paris-brest), great grocery shoping and a wonderful pizza place all around the market square. We loved all the board games that were available at the house and the kitchen had everything and more to cook meals. The only thing we did not do was using the pool since we hit a cold spell when we were there. The house was cozy and warm. Eric gave great recommendations for the area and we used the car to explore toulouse, Carcassonne and saissac. If we are in the area we would definitely visit again .

The house is spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished, clean. The kitchen has everything you need. And in terms of activities available in the accommodation: mountain biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, sauna, foosball, wii... All 20m from the lake... No complaints! Great stay!

Our stay at Sylvie and Patrick's house went very well! Their welcome was super friendly. The house is really very nice as well as the very peaceful environment. Recommended ++.

great stay at Aurélie's, who is very welcoming, small typical stone house, very cozy, beautiful terrace with views of nature and the ruins of the castle, small village very quiet. Close to many sites to visit.

Myself, my partner and our child had a great stay in Gregory’s apartment. It looked exactly like the photos and was really clean. It was well connected and in a great location. Gregory was a great and friendly host and gave lots of recommendations to make sure we made the most of trip. We’d definitely stay here again!

Accommodation for a stopover before staying in Spain

The sea view is really superb and the accommodation is very welcoming with a bright and pleasant living room. Sébastien our host was very nice. Keep in mind that the room is quite small and it's on the 4th floor without an elevator. The neighborhood at the back of the building is lively with many bars and the festive noises released may disturb the most sensitive. The experience is positive for us. Thanks to Faty and Sébastien

Our stay at Lourdes's went perfectly well. The apartment, ideally located, allows you to drop off the car and do everything on foot. Very well exposed accommodation, allowing you to enjoy the sun and an exceptional sea view. The very large terrace allows you to enjoy all meals while enjoying the landscape! Lourdes and her husband are great hosts. We'll be back for sure.

The accommodation is ideally located for visiting the creeks (bus nearby) but also for going to the port of Marseille (a little longer journey but nothing disturbing). Everything is done to make you feel good in this apartment. A big thank you to Alexandra and Michel for their thoughtful attention to our arrival. Alexandra is very responsive and really cares about our well-being. I'd recommend it without a second thought.

The house had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. We felt very welcome there, with excellent stocks of essential supplies. We would not hesitate to book another stay there.

Great find, loved our stay with the family for a few days. Situated in very small village with beautiful surroundings. House was charming and came with all amenities. Sébastien was responsive and very helpful.

Stunning property in beautiful isolation, with woodland, wild garden areas and babbling stream - but close to pretty small villages and Carcassonne only 1/2 hour away with large supermarkets for a “big” shop. Very easy to settle in to a very relaxing holiday. Our host has a family house renovated sympathetically full of character and personal effects. 3 good sized bedrooms, though only one toilet on the bedroom floor. Huge living room with fantastic views - ditto the kitchen, which is well stocked. We met Guillaume whilst mowing his vast area of grass - absolutely charming and he was very helpful and responsive throughout. Some toys, cot and a stair gate for our toddler grandson! We absolutely loved it - a joy and a privilege to experience this unique property. PS NOT for people with mobility problems. We absolutely loved it!

A very nice small accommodation with an independent exterior with nice views of the meadows and the lake. The apartment is large (large bedroom and beautiful bathroom), very well equipped (especially the kitchen) and really quiet (it is located outside the hamlet of Pareloup). The hosts are friendly, welcoming, very accommodating and with good advice (especially for restaurants😀). A good place to rest.

We had a great 2 weeks at Steeve's. I came with my husband and our dog to recharge our batteries and go on beautiful hikes. The house and garden are very well furnished. The pool, jacuzzi, and petanque court were very much appreciated! Steeve was great, very responsive to every message, he even dropped off charcoal so we could have a bbq. We can only recommend it! Thanks to Steeve for his kindness, we'll be back with pleasure!

An exceptional stay! The gite is so well set up from the glorious setting and peaceful atmosphere to the fast wifi, underfloor heating, modern interior, large comfortable bed and luxurious bedding. It is a little hidden gem, surrounded by beautiful countryside and our hosts were beyond amenable and welcoming. Colin’s incredible art just creates a wonderful atmosphere. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had in a long time! Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lovely gite in Aragon.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay here longer! Damià made our short stay very comfortable and gave us a lot of suggestions for other places to visit on our trip through the Catalonian countryside. The place is really beautiful. It’s directly downhill (down-cliff, really) from a mountaintop sanctuary with sweeping views of the entire valley, which you can reach via a few different hiking routes of various difficulty levels, from paved with a railing to steep and challenging. The views from the house itself are fantastic as well! As is the local bird life. And meeting Damià’s cat Lola was an unexpected treat. :) One caveat, the house is pretty isolated at the end of a short-ish dirt road with the occasional rock. There are a couple of switchback turns. It should be no problem for most cars, and if you’re uncomfortable driving yourself, Damià can pick you up in his 4x4. The nearby town, Sant Llorenç de Morunys, is small and quiet, but friendly and pleasant to walk around.

We have just had the most wonderful stay at Martine’s place. Martine and her husband were both really welcoming. The house has everything you need and is situated in a beautiful location. We loved our evening drink on the terrace overlooking the valley. Fabulous!
