The Luberon House

RobertRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Stunning. This home is a dream come true. Gorgeously decorated and thoughtfully stocked. The view from the balcony is heaven. The location of the home is just perfect. Our concierge, Denis, may be the most attentive and helpful person we’ve ever met while staying at an Airbnb. He’s an expert on the region (he wrote a book about it!) and gave us perfect recommendations! He was available to us during our whole stay and did everything to make sure we had all we needed. Even better than the photos, this home is magnificent and immaculately clean, with the most comfortable beds and spa like bathrooms. It’s quiet and private. Lots of room for our family of four. Gordes is a perfect place to stay to visit all of Provence. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!

Charming! House with terrace, historic heart

DeborahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our visit to Saint-RĂ©my-de-Provence was a dream, and staying in this beautiful house was a big part of what made it so special. The house is immaculate and spacious, with three levels and a lovely rooftop terrace perfect for enjoying a glass of wine. Our bed was super comfy, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need. Some Airbnbs look better in the listings - this place was the very opposite. It’s even lovelier in real life. Jean-Luc and Perrine, artists who run a gallery on the street level, have renovated and decorated the house so tastefully and beautifully. There are art books, antiques, wonderful art and interesting details everywhere - even a record player with a terrific selection of records to enjoy. Lastly, Jean-Luc was an incredible host, giving us recommendations for restaurants and attractions and helping with parking and other logistics. He went above and beyond. We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house and would love to return.

This apartment in an eighteenth century old building was in an ideal location for visiting Albi. Everything was accessible on foot, and a secure parking space was available if you have a car. The beautifully decorated apartment was very well equipped for a two week stay. Marie-José was a wonderful host. She picked us up from the station, and explained the ins and outs of the apartment before leaving us to enjoy our holiday. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in a special place in Albi, and visit this beautiful area of France.

The apartment is absolutely stunning, really beautiful, with fantastic views over the rooftops of Nimes, as the name suggests! It’s very spacious, we travelled as a family of 4 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The apartment stays very cool and although there is air conditioning we didn’t need to use it. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance, you are surrounded by shops and restaurants, and only a short walk from the station. Amaury was kind enough to let us check out a little later, which was really appreciated as we had an afternoon train. Thank you Amaury for a wonderful stay in your beautiful apartment!

Fredrik was easy to communicate with. Since he was not in the resort, he had arranged with another person who took very good care of us. When we had questions, he responded very quickly and the person who had care of the house went out of her way to make sure we had the best stay possible. The pool and jacuzzi gave extra edge to the stay.

Bistrot vintage at grandma Leone

OlafRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The atmosphere there is really great. It is very quiet and feels like it is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, the great bakery, a small supermarket and a nice restaurant are within a five-minute walk. The vintage style of the furnishings and the garden with two terraces and pool make the stay perfect. The pool is even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Lézan is very village-like but well suited as a starting point for excursions. The tips and advice from Fabrice were very helpful. We felt very comfortable there and it has everything you need for a vacation. Be sure to visit the organic winemaker next door and buy wine!

Authentic farmhouse with heated swimming pool in the countryside

Bas & NikkiRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Above expectations and beyond. The house is simply gorgeous, the heated pool is beautiful, and the garden between vineyards is picture-perfect. Our dog had a wonderful time, as the property is fenced in (with an electric gate you get the remote for), he could roam around without us worrying. The pool has an automatic cover that you can easily slide on and off, which gives a bit more security with little kids. The kitchen was stocked with amenities, the showers were comfortable and hot, and the area is so quiet and serene, we slept like babies. You have 100% privacy, while the owners are close when needed. Communication is quick and easy. Villedieu is about 20 mins walk, with a small supermarket that also has fresh bread in the morning. The Provençal market in Nyons on Sunday mornings is highly recommended (May - Sept).
