The house is located in 2nd line to the seafront , overlooking the channel between Lamu and Manda Island and is within the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. Easy to reach restaurants, shops, the market, boats and beaches. The interiors are roomy and beautifully-finished, and furnished with attractive, newly-built traditional furniture including chairs, tables, sofas, four-poster beds, planters chairs. We rent out the whole house from 2 to 14 pax so you will never have to share with anyone. Nyumba Kiru has a pool, dining areas, bar, kitchen, umbrella and sun bed around the pool and on the beach. Authentic Swahili style villa in the heart of Lamu

Full house ready for guests! The typical Lamu courtyard is the center of it all, a serene space from which all other rooms emerge. The three-story building (475m2) with roof access offers an amazing view of the Indian Ocean under the makuti (typical roof construction from the area made from palm leaves) which protects from the rain and sunshine. This results in a beautiful, spacious and very comfortable house.
