Rural cottage with hot tub near Newark on Trent

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great stay at The Fern with our two dogs. The secure garden with hot tub was very private and the fields on the site were perfect for our dogs to run around. We loved the puzzle box! Having an EV charger on site was a great feature too, that we made good use of. The space downstairs was very generous and well equipped. The bed upstairs was huge and the view from the window across the site was fantastic, especially at sunrise. Nigel was very friendly and responsive, providing lots of local info for things to do. Thank you for a fab stay!

The Olde Coach House - Cottage with Hot Tub

AnneliesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
John's place was a great place to stay. It was very quiet, clean and just a nice place! The hot tub was perfect and because of the high walls around it felt very private. The garden is a perfect place to hang out when it's sunny. It's a really quiet place. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though we weren't. For dog owners: The garden is fully enclosed, there is no risk of your dog escaping. John does need to check the hot tub frequently, but he was very communicative with us about when he wanted to check it so it was never an issue with our dog! You should know dogs aren't allowed on the furniture (not a problem for us, my dog is too big for that anyway!).

Rural luxury cottage for2, garden, private hot tub

JoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful few days in Phillip’s cottage to do many walks with our dog, go geocaching, relax and read. It was the most restorative break for us all and from the moment we checked in everything was great. Phillip was really friendly and told us some of the history around the local properties. Super helpful & a great host. The property was spotless & had all we needed. The hot tub was fab after a days walking and the bed really comfortable. We loved just sitting and watching nature in the garden - so many birds and even one day we saw a wild rabbit. It felt quiet and very private. Highly recommend & hope we will be back!

Lovely house with stylish decorations, nice products to use, well equipped including a sharp knife which is very rare in holiday accommodation. The enclosed rear garden was well planted with shrubs and had furniture to use on a nice day. The location was great with 3 excellent pubs close by all of which we visited. Overall a great place to stay.

Cottage on the foothills of the Peak District

LauraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A cozy, quaint and comfortable cottage. Beds were comfortable and slept well. Quiet and private with the high tree and ivy covered fences. Ian was great with communication for check in. Back and garden secure for medium and large dogs. The side gate has a large gap on the fence side and our small dogs (8kg) dogs appeared in the front of the cottage while we were unpacking the car. We were able to block the opening with garden chairs. Just be aware and confirm the main entrance gates are securely closed and locked. Will definitely recommend and stay again in future.

Anna was so helpful and friendly when we arrived. The cottage is lovely and having bread, butter, preserves and grinola for breakfast was an added and welcome bonus. The surroundings are lovely. A short walk takes you to the pub where the evening meals were great, reasonably priced and not ‘ping ping’ (microwaved). Thank you, Anna for allowing us to stay one night. We’ll be back in the Autumn.

Had a lovely mini break in Holbrook. The cottgae was a perfect base for our family of 4 (with 2 kids under 10). The kids loved the play park up the road and we had a lovely meal at The Spotted Cow. The cottage itself was great - warm, cosy, with all the amenities we could want. Thanks again Tracey for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at River Maun Cottage. I picked this location as I was attending my friend’s wedding at Hazel Gap Barn which was only an 8 minute drive from the accommodation. I couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were very responsive via messages, not only answering any questions I had but also providing me with information regarding the area; suggesting places to visit and restaurants to eat at in and around Ollerton. The cottage itself was pristine and, due to its cosy feel, we were able to make ourselves right at home. We would definitely love to stay again if we were visiting the area and we would absolutely recommend to anyone else looking for an Airbnb In Ollerton. Thank you for the perfect stay.
