Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lalitpur

Dinesh is a super chill guy that has his mission on keeping the heritage home clean and organized and having his guests enjoy their stay. Dinesh’s family is also welcoming and care about the guests. In fact they have hosted guests for more than 10 years, they only used airbnb recently, so they are actually very experienced in making an enjoyable stay. Just notice, some parts the ceilings are low due to the heritage house, if you are very tall ask about the height first.

The accommodation is in a beautiful setting with a community that is safe. Sunil and his family are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating in any way needed. They make delicious meals and snacks. There are many varieties of things to do, locally and in the capital, which is about 30 minutes from Sunil's home. Sunil is very familiar with the landscape and the capital and can easily help navigate and provide much information on many of those places. He can also provide guidance, etc. on places outside of the Kathmandu Valley. This is not my first time to Nepal, but upon my return this time, I've traveled to many new places and saw many new things- there is so much to see!

This family of father, mother and their 21 year old son are great hosts. They are warm, friendly and interested but respect your privacy. If anything needs repairing, they repair it or have it repaired right away. They offer to clean your room and bathroom more often than they need to be cleaned. The house is in a very quiet area and has a beautiful, green garden with various fruit trees and plants. If asked, they offer valuable information about local resources and events. I was fortunate to have the guestroom with an attached bathroom. Many extra blankets are kept in the room's closet for the times the weather gets cold. Their WIFI was excellent and I was always able to connect my devices in their house. I normally wanted to eat elsewhere where I had eaten for the past 3 decades on previous visits to Nepal. However, 3 times Mrs. Shrestha made me healthy and tasty lunches. I was given hot Nepali milk tea anytime I asked for it. They keep large containers with purified water in their kitchen which I was allowed to access at any time. Since I had an evening flight, they very generously offered me a ride to the airport my last day. They were the most hospitable hosts I have ever had among the various Airbnb guesthouses I have stayed in. When I visit Nepal again I would very much be interested in staying in one of their guestrooms. I would highly recommend these hosts to anyone.

We had a nice stay with Dishya's family. Her parents and brother made us feel welcome. The family has a beautiful pink house. From the house you can see over the whole Kathmandu. We chose this place because it is not affected by the smog of the city. The air here is great. Right at the beginning Dikshya's parents organized a video call with Dikshya. It was very important to them that we are doing well. Dikshya herself like her parents are warm beaming, accommodating people. During our stay my friend developed fever& a respiratory illness. We were able to extend three nights without any problems. The family helped us a lot in an emergency situation and took care of us and like we were part of the family. Dikshya's mother cooked for us every day - she is a fabulous cook. The family took me on walks and Dikshya's brother even took me on a hike in the mountains of Kathmandu. We are very grateful for the hospitality!

Good location. It is located just beside the hotel Ambassador. Center to all major places. Host is very responsive. There is "pizza inn" restaurant in the ground floor. One can have food within the premises. Overall it's a good experience.

Good and well maintained property. However should be clear about house rules on the listing itself not after checking in that creates a big issue for both the parties. Thank you

I love this little gem in Kathmandu - Jason and his family make you feel at home every moment. They were helping me with every single detail during my stay. The place itself is even more beautiful than pictures and the little community around makes a super quiet cozy and homy environment I will be definitely back (and very soon) Thanks!

Uttam was the kindest and most hospitable host I had, his family was extremely generous and welcoming! They always cared a lot for our wellbeing and made sure we have everything we need. The house is very spacious, air conditioning worked very well, we had hot water, drinking water, android tv. I enjoyed so much staying here, I even had a family dinner with Uttam family and had an amazing conversation together. Much love and gratitude!

It was an amazing experience, beautiful green surroundings with fruit trees, avocado , banana apples and some I’m not familiar with! The breeze was great compared to the heat of the streets and no vehicle noise. We had our coffee on the patio every morning listening to the variety of birds singing. The bed was comfortable and soft and the kitchen had good variety of dishes and cooking utensils. The bathroom was clean with good storage. Always plenty of hot water even in the faucets which I find rare. There was plenty of storage for clothes etc. Shivaram was always available, he had many friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The property is off the main road among other upscale compounds and safety was no concern. Stores are nearby. I’m happy I have found a place that I will definitely return to! The place is nice and cozy and is well facilitated with all the utilities. The apartment is located in prime city area with loads of options for restaurants. Places like the Kathmandu Durbar Square is also within walking distance if you are looking to explore the city. The apartment itself is clean and well maintained and is secluded if you are looking for some privacy. The owner is also super nice and friendly. Overall my experience here was good and I recommend this place.

We came back for a second time. It didn't take long for the neighborhood to feel like home. Everything was great!!
