New modern mtn home, 3 private acres, pet friendly

We had a great week at Bearside Retreat. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the wooded property and large upper deck. We were secluded yet within walking distance to Cheshire Village and an easy drive into town to the grocery store and breweries. Highly recommend!

Curious Cottage Downtown Black Mountain

This spot had maybe the most character out of any place we've stayed before. We'd absolutely plan to stay here again when we make it back in the future.

Woodland Retreat | Cozy Oasis, King, Dog-Friendly!

RyanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This may of been the best Airbnb stay/experience I have ever had. This home was beautiful and convenient to Asheville. Anna thought of everything and we needed for nothing during our stay. Our first nite my mother-in-law watched our 2 year old and it was just my wife and I. The furniture was comfortable and the layout was perfect. We were able to really relax and start our next morning with coffee and enjoying nature. Our next night we had our 2 year old with us. Anna set up a highchair and pack-n-play for us. There were toys and and books for our little one (The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Barney are her 2 favorites lol). Anna went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

Cozy and convenient to everything!

Marta and Joe’s home was the perfect spot for a quick trip to Black Mountain. You truly could not beat the location - just a couple of blocks from the Main Street downtown, and one block from the Saturday farmers market, which is a can’t miss!! The accommodations were peaceful, cozy, and exactly the quiet escape we were looking for. Also the mattress was insanely comfortable - a great night’s sleep! Marta was very friendly and easy to communicate with, I’d definitely book her place again.

Such a nice, quiet spot thats still within a reasonable distance to Asheville! I loved all of the creature comforts as well as the eccentricity of the space. Super cool!

The Palace

It is right downtown Black Mountain. I live on 30ac in West Virginia and had forgotten that cities/towns make noise. Nothing out of the ordinary and after the first night, I slept through it all (garbage trucks, the occasional loud muffler...and, of all things...people). Felt right at home. Comfortable bed, big, fat TV(!) and if there hadn't been so many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance I would've had everything to prepare meals for myself. Actually, I was there to visit an ill friend and was able to easily whip up his favorite dish...scallops with a balsamic strawberry reduction on a bed of baby spinach. At first, I thought it to be a little pricey but looking back it was worth the upgrade. Would definitely book again.

Creekside Tiny House w/ Hot Tub

NatashaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The tiny home was so cute and beautifully decorated! Very private and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The covered porch was an added bonus, especially since it rained both nights during our stay. It was nice to sit out there and enjoy the rain, but not screened in so bring bug spray! The loft space was cozy with comfortable bedding and linens. AWD vehicle is recommended, especially with rain/mud. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return again!

Black Mountain is one of our absolute favorite places to visit. We had a quick weekend there to look at property in Asheville so we were gone all day. Comfortable and super cute. In a great quiet neighborhood.
