There is phone signal & 4G but no Wifi so this place is like a retreat for you to truly unwind & relax, or use as a base for exploring the closeby stunning areas of the Yorkshire Dales & the Lake District. Two minutes from J35 off the M6 making it really easy to get to and get to other places too! There is also a beautiful canal walk straight from your log cabin to the local pub.

Lake View Lodge

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

Hut in the Sheep Wash

Beautiful shepherd's hut set in a private, peaceful riverside field, surrounded by fields and woodland. Sleeps 2 in a double bed and is self-contained with fully equipped kitchen (2 gas hobs and grill) and small bathroom with shower and eco loo. A wood burner keeps it very cosy in winter. Lights are powered by a solar panel. Bedding and towels provided, also tea, coffee etc and provisions for breakfast. A perfect place in the Lake District for a romantic break or getaway from modern life!

Situated right on Lake Windermere, our lodge is a wonderful place to unwind and relax while watching the magnificent views of the hills and fells across the lake. Water lovers are in a perfect place, to access the lake at the bottom of the stairs leading from the decking. Nature lovers can enjoy watching the many birds and wildlife pass by. Located on White Cross Bay, the lodge is in a fantastic place to explore the Lake District and it's only £3.00 by bus to anywhere in The Lakes.

Fancy getting away from it all? Then you have found the right place. A little piece of paradise on earth with uninterrupted views of Grizedale woodland. I only book guests with previous good reviews (at least 2). No pets allowed. Maximum of 6 people (including infants). Please note the location is REMOTE, no shops are near (25 min drive to Co-op in Hawkshead), but there is a pub 5 min drive away in Satterthwaite. You are not far from Grizedale Centre, Coniston or Windermere.

It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.

Kingfisher Lodge, 30 Yealands

Yealands is a fairly new site surrounded by planted trees with water features for the local ducks and other water fowl. We are opposite the main village where the restaurant, gym and pool are located. The Yealands is a quieter site, perfect for relaxing after a long day visiting the many local attractions.
