House vacation rentals in Lake Victoria

Beautiful home. Best value for money that I’ve encountered in my entire 2 weeks in Kenya. It’s very cozy, clean, well thought through. Kate is a wonderful host. Don’t you over use this place, guys and gals, coz I need it next time I come :))

Das Haus ist wirklich rießig und sehr komfortabel. Die Einrichtung ist super und teilweise sehr modern. Auch die Aussenanlage mit dem Pool ist fantastisch. Es war alles sehr sauber. Nur die Bettlaken hatten ein paar Flecken. Für die Anreise braucht man auf jeden Fall Allradantrieb und auch für den Aufenthalt braucht man ein eigenes Auto, da keine Bodas zur Unterkunft kommen, da der Berg zu steil ist.

Kelly’s place was a gem of a villa. Perfect for families, great attention to detail and a wonderful garden. Poolside is serene and the rooms are very comfortable and well styled. Kelly is a great host and great communicator and the staff are welcoming and helpful! Karibu!

My family and throughly enjoyed our stay at Carolyn and Junior’s house! The house was so spacious and comfortable for my family and I. And we absolutely fell in love with Mr. Steven, Mr. Dickson, Ms. Barbara, and Ms. Judith! They are wonderful and very helpful and attentive. The host were very welcoming and helpful, we had a little hiccup and they were there to make sure matters were solved and in a timely manner. We were sad to have to leave as this place really started feeling like home. I definitely recommend this house 100%

Our stay on Bulago island at Tom's house was just great. From the house, beautifully situated above the water on the far west tip of the island, you have an amazing view over the lake, which gets even better with every step you climb up behind the house up to the hill, which is the highest point of the island. The house is fully equipped with all you need and Tom is an awesome host! We'll soon be back.

Great place, kinda hard to find but good service and good communication from the host

Had a wonderful stay in Kisumu. The house was exactly what we needed and in a great location. The added guest house in the back is a really helpful option for large families or groups. We didn’t use it this time, but will definitely book again next time we are in the area!

Enormous 20th Century guest house – comfortably fits 4 couples/children, with dining and living area, plus enormous gorgeous garden + gazebo fit for a hotel. Housekeeping staff were present and helpful throughout

Allan was a great host, making us feel comfortable and right at home. The space was very well designed with impeccable woodwork and very cozy. Honestly, this is by far the best place that I have stayed at, while in Kakamega. Very clean and quiet environment with a very responsive hosts. The place was cleaned everyday, with fresh bedsheets, towels and clean drinking water provided. Perfect local in a private compound. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to my next stay

We had a wonderful stay at Khadija’s oasis of comfort! The accommodation is very easy to reach from the city center and offers direct shopping options, as well as a safe environment. We really enjoyed our time there – the small pool was definitely a highlight! Everything was exactly as described, and Khadija was an excellent host. We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Munyonyo, Kampala! The place was absolutely perfect for our family, including our two little kids. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. Racheal, our host was incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay; and Amos the onsite caretaker is a gem. From the smooth check-in process to the thoughtful touches in the home, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is a 5-star stay in every way, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in Kampala as a family. We would definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sylvia's Zen House. We are regulars in Kakamega but the first time staying here. The amenities were as described and the house was tastefully decorated. We had the most completely furnished kitchen with everything we could need. The groundskeeper was very helpful when needed. We can highly recommend staying at this house. You will not be disappointed! Asante Sana Sylvia!

A lovely and modern home in a quiet residential street just off the main road. Modern design house with a lovely outdoor patio facing the garden. Well worth the price.

My friends and I stayed at Dr Stella's place in Namulanda for two nights. She and Kia, her house manager are very nice, welcoming and helpful with even the smallest details to make our stay as easy as possible - on top of all the amenities and fully functioning chicken, she even recommended a neighbourhood restaurant that served a delicious supper. Neighbourhood is a bit of a distance off the maid road but it makes up for that with how peaceful and safe it is. I'll definitely stay whenever I am in the area as the price itself is really good for this place.

De beste plek om n paar dagen Mwanza te bezoeken! Prachtig uitzicht op het meer, gezellig huisje met trappetjes. Op 20 min loopafstand van het centrum, wel heuvel op en af. Alles is basic aanwezig in de keuken, en ook de was kan worden gedaan. Helen reageert snel op vragen, altijd vriendelijk. Goed prijs-kwaliteit. Echte aanrader!

I didn't get to meet John, but I met Mama Jayme who was super super helpful! I booked to prepare for my traditional marriage ceremony, and I surely have no regrets! Amazing Mama Jayme! God Bless Her
