Absolute perfect place for a long weekend getaway. House was perfect with so much to do inside and out. We definitely plan to stay again thru the years when visiting family. Definitely recommend.

Perfect beginning of summer vacation with a few days of fishing, kayaking and swimming with our grandson. The swing over the water was a BONUS! So fun! The house has everything you need, it is super clean and not far from Albemarle with grocery stores and restaurants. We had some issues due to the weather and Amanda was very receptive and quick to help us work through them. We highly recommend this great lake house!

We had a fabulous stay at the lake. Home was spacious, kitchen well stocked, and the upstairs was great for our kiddos. The dock was great, lots of space and we loved the 2nd level where we got to star gaze at night. Felicia was very responsive and we hope to come back next year!

We loved this house! It felt brand new, it was super clean, well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. We’ve always dreamed of having a lake house of our own and this place just further intensified that vision! It felt SO quiet and private. I’ve stayed on other areas of HRL that felt much more congested with noisy neighbors where you are forced to hear someone else’s playlist all day. You won’t feel that here! The swimming right off the dock was so good. We rented a pontoon boat with a tube and pulled our teenage girls around for hours! The game room was perfect for when we got some afternoon rain. I’d definitely stay here again. Heather was very communicative. Check in/out was easy. I’m sure this is mentioned in the listing but it’s not a good place for anyone with mobility issues (lots of steep inclines to walk up). Though, we met our stair goals each day and are heading home with stronger calves!

We had a great stay! Katherine was responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The place was a great location and our kids enjoyed the lake!

My family and I had an awesome time at their lovely lake house. The galley kitchen was cute, great for buffet style eating. The house was bright and airy, the sunsets were amazing. There’s plenty of yard in the front and back for yard games. There’s boat access right around the corner, walking distance. Would definitely recommend their vacation home.

We rented the lake house so my family and I can spend the holidays and my dad's 87th birthday together. We all had a great time! The place was really nice and the house is really spacious.

Jaime's cute house was the perfect place for our stay on Badin Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Really like the covered parking too since it rained a lot during our stay. It was nice to be able to unload the car without getting too soaking wet!

I rented this home for my daughter's 16th birthday and we really had a wonderful time! The house is very nice and the lake with the kayaks and the paddle board were fantastic! My daughters also loved the swings and the hammocks. We did have an issue out of the owners control and they responded within minutes and were willing to do whatever they could to help. We would definitely love to go back at another time!

This is our 3rd time staying at High Rock Lake, we’ve bounced around and this was one of the best spots to stay! First we were stoked about an early check in, that was 1 extra hour we got to spend on vacation!! The house was very clean and was well put together. It came with lots of special touches like a dog kennel, bowls and a mat; separate towels for the lake, and black washcloths for make up’d faces. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there! The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances you could possibly want and plenty of cookware. We had a small issue upon arrival (out of everyone’s control) and our hosts were quick to respond and resolve and it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock - it was nice there were so many chairs and it made it easy to enjoy multiple spaces. If you’re looking for a great getaway, this is the spot!

My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon and overall really loved the experience. It was the perfect size for the two of us and felt cozy. They had a perfect spot on the lake and we never saw the neighbors, so although there are houses around it felt private. The balcony was our favorite part and we enjoyed having our meals outside. What I will say is that I wish there was a fire pit. There was gas fire pit in the pictures so we assumed there would be one and even brought stuff to make snores, but there is none. We are love being outside but having no fire pit was disappointing. There was also a plethora of bugs which made sitting outside last sundown nearly impossible. Don’t get me wrong i understand we are at the lake in June, but a fire pit or some sort of bug zapper mechanism would have done wonders. I would also not recommend for larger groups as there is only 1 bathroom and steel stairs to access it. Overall we would definitely book again and actually plan to!

This was the perfect place, it was peaceful and accommodating to our needs. The host was extremely pleasant and quick to respond when we needed them. I can’t wait to visit again for a relaxing weekend! I highly recommend.

This place was perfect for our crew of 8. Everyone had plenty of room and the space they needed. The location could not be beaten with the water being right across a private road with your own dock access. We spent many hours out there and in the private pool in the backyard. The host also let us check in early since we were ahead of schedule. Five star stay

Thanks everything was great from me asking how far you were from the location of our event for the weekend. To me and my family making memories. It’s hard to make memories with adult children in the start of their careers but this home allowed my husband and myself to make those memories. From myself and my youngest being able to open the windows and talk to my husband and my oldest down on the dock fishing and my grandpup watching his mom and pop pop fish with granny and auntie. So thank you for opening up your home to us. It’s definitely worth the money!

Absolutely great property! We had a wonderful time. Great dock and even better distance to the dock. 20 steps and you're on the water! One of the best lake properties we've experienced!

We absolutely loved this place! We didn’t do much as we were in town to visit family, but are planning on coming back in the summer. The beds were all very comfortable and there was so much room!

We had a great time at Marian Elaine’s place. The house sits on the main channel of Lake Tillery so the views are outstanding. The house was clean and it appears to have been remodeled recently. The layout is nice with a large, open Living room/dining area/kitchen in the middle with 2 bedrooms and a bath on either end of the house. There is a large screened porch facing the lake, a large uncovered deck area beyond the porch, and a covered/shaded sitting area on the pier. Nice, safe neighborhood. Albemarle is about 15 minutes away with restaurants, grocery, etc.. Hope to make it back sometime soon.

Super cozy and in a perfect deep cove location just off the main channel but tucked away and private. The upper deck on the boat house was amazing for catching morning sun. As a frequent renter in the lake it was great to have an open boat slip to keep our boat in. Wonderful selection of reading material on hand as well. Highly recommend this home and family as they were amazing and have really made their lake cottage feel like home away from home!

great space outside for the family and friends. everyone left besides 2 of us because the rest was local. Great time fishing. The neighbors was friendly as well.

If you are looking for a good place to fish this is one of the best spots so far we came here for my boyfriend Bday and this was the most fish he ever caught we enjoyed it. Grilled food and did roasted marshmallows. The host was very responsive Amber & Her husband. I Didn't have no issue with them as long as you communicate with them and follow the rules everything is good about them. They answered every question If you dont like the bugs then this not the place for you and if you are not good with walking the stairs just know there are steep stairs to the doc but if you love to fish then this is definitely the place to come you will have some on and off moments with the fish but if you patient enough you will have so many fish you can have a fish fry . Caught crapees & catfish. If you want to fish at night there are a few lights provided but I would recommend to bring extra just incase and place them where you going to stand at we fished till 10-11 on some nights We will be Back!

Jenny's place was perfect for our needs. Wedding 15 minutes away. Were not there very much but was very convenient for us. Has a great game room that I wish we had had the time to use. My niece said they had the "BEST shampoo and soaps EVER."

If you’re thinking about this place, do it! The photos don’t do it justice in terms of size and beauty. Beautiful home and beautiful, peaceful, private surroundings. Lincoln was perfect and responded in a timely manner. He was helpful, accommodating, and proactive. This was the perfect place to celebrate the life of my Dad, whom I recently lost. He would have loved it. Thank you so much for having us, Lincoln! 10/10 across the board!
