Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Tillery

The house is even more beautiful once you’re there. Pictures do not do it justice. So many comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, everything is spotless and we spent many nights by the fire on the screened porch and mornings looking out over the lake. The host was fabulous and so responsive. This will be the ONLY place we stay when we visit family in NC.

Perfect beginning of summer vacation with a few days of fishing, kayaking and swimming with our grandson. The swing over the water was a BONUS! So fun! The house has everything you need, it is super clean and not far from Albemarle with grocery stores and restaurants. We had some issues due to the weather and Amanda was very receptive and quick to help us work through them. We highly recommend this great lake house!

Spent the weekend here with some friends for a weekend getaway on the lake. The property was perfect, had plenty of space, was clean and felt right at home. Was able to bring my boat and use the open boat slip on the dock which worked out great! Joel was super helpful and proactive with doing anything that he could to make our stay better. Overall a great house if you’re looking for a stay on the lake in a quiet private neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at the lake. Home was spacious, kitchen well stocked, and the upstairs was great for our kiddos. The dock was great, lots of space and we loved the 2nd level where we got to star gaze at night. Felicia was very responsive and we hope to come back next year!

We loved our stay there with family. It is beautiful and peaceful. Kept the kids entertained in the game room during a storm. Debbie is a wonderful host had chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen that didn't last long. We would recommend her gorgeous home for anyone who is looking for a wonderful, peaceful lake view.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful home. Everything was exactly as shown and would totally recommend this place to other family’s that enjoy sitting by the lake and enjoying the amazing views. The host was an amazing person that was very responsive and understanding to my questions. I would surely be back to visit again!

Terra was super responsive, but we really didn’t need much, everything was set up wonderfully. Being able to rent the water toys was such an amazing addition. We will definitely stay here again when we have another family reunion!

This is a great place to relax and be away from people. The neighborhood is very quiet. The kitchen had literally everything you could need to cook some great meals and enjoy it on the porch. The house was perfect for our stay.

This lake house was just perfect! From beginning to end, the stay was awesome. The house has everything you could possibly want or need. We looooved the outdoor space! Beautiful deck with lots of sitting room, lights, and fans. The hot tub was so awesome! Super nice fire pit area. A nice dock extending into deep lake water. We visited several local towns around the lake and were blown away with how friendly everyone was. We got all of our groceries at Perry’s Produce, a local produce stand; including meats and even butter and coffee creamer. We went to a vineyard nearby, and Morrow Mountain Stare Park for a beautiful hike with breathtaking views of the mountains. The area and the beautiful, cozy house with lots of amenities made this lake vacation one of the best we’ve had!

Great little place! Easy to get to, far enough out to be quiet but not too far from the main roads. It was nice to sit out on the swings and relax.

This was the best Airbnb that I have ever stayed in. The host was very communicative before and after check in. Check in was simple and flexible. The description of this home understates how wonderful it is. From our first view of the quaint cottage look of the landscaped yard and picturesque front porch, we were impressed. The inside of the house was clean, beautifully decorated and well appointed. The towels and bedding were all top quality. The beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the lake from the main bedroom was fantastic. The best part of the home, however, was the back porch and multiple layers of decking overlooking the water. All of the outdoor space was furnished with sturdy comfortable furniture. There was a grill and a couple of fire tables. The docks were set up for relaxation and entertainment. The home provided kayaks, a place to fish, and even an outdoor TV. Indoors there were plenty of board games, puzzles and books to enjoy. This is a super place!

We always love staying here:) Accommodations are as advertised. Easily sleeps 6+. Newly upgraded grill and dock. Responsive owner. MUCH cleaner than most "pet friendly" airbnbs... and the visiting dogs from next door are so friendly and polite. Best fishing we've found in NC!

We had such a wonderful time at Linda’s home! The spot couldn’t be more beautiful, we used the kayaks multiple times and my dog was very comfortable in her home. It’s well equipped with everything you could need to cook a meal, and the beds were all very comfortable. Would love to come back!

Beautiful home with an amazing view of the lake. Great space for our group and the hosts are wonderful. They respond promptly and are so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend and can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend this rental, it’s definitely a favorite now.

Peaceful location just minutes from hiking trailheads. We enjoyed the firepit, listening to the birds, the cozy bed, and the fantastic outdoor shower. We hope to return sometime.

I had an issue at check in and Carolyn was delightful and extremely responsive in helping me get it resolved. We accidentally left some important items and she also helped us get them shipped back to us. On top of how beautiful the lake and the property is, it was a wonderful stay!
